So far this year he has played 64 games at Knoxville. As of June 12th, he is at AA (understandably the minor leagues):
Batting: .359 Home Runs: 22 RBI: 56 Those totals are higher than the same categories for any major league player. Tulowitzki is batting (qualified) .356, Nelson Cruz has 21 HRs, and Giancarlo Stanton has 55 RBI. Pretty impressive! |

You can't really compare minor league stats against proven MLB stars. Look at it this way, the MLB is virtually for the most part the All-Stars of the minor leagues and college, only the best of the best make it to the MLB level. While I am not stating Bryant's numbers aren't impressive, there is no way to say he could do this at the MLB level. There are so many impressive hitters on the MILB level that failed in the MLB....Brandon Wood, Matt Laporta, etc.

Well, he is not the leader of any triple crown stats in the minor. I think he is leading the triple crown stats in his league.

Not sure why everybody is trolling and getting angry. Obviously the op understands the difference between double a and the majors, he just thought it would be something interesting to share with everyone. I found this pretty cool to know so thanks OP

My 5 year-old is killing it in tee ball right now. He's probably a future hall of famer.

Hey in my softball league I am have got a hit in every game, being that it is 12 games. What is the logarithm to compare mixed softball to, lets say Joe DiMaggio hit streak. I am guessing probably over/under 40 games a year so what maybe 400 games, 400 games matches his hit streak.
Wait, guys, my wife says I am full of sh......poop. I would be wheel chair bound 35 years plus and instead of just a hit I need a homerun in each game to match softball streak to DiMaggio. Thought I was close. Listen Bryant's got some killer numbers but comparing AA to majors is not a good comparison. If Bryant started day 1 of this season he would probably be batting around .290, be in the top 10 in strikeouts, in the bottom on-base percentage, probably have around 12-15 home runs and around 30-35 RBI's. He is good, really good, but he still needs to go to AAA. Now if pulls in the same numbers in AAA then we can really start to discuss comparison |

he is not just leading each triple crown category he is crushing every category. he is 30 points ahead in batting avg, 15 runs ahead, 10 homers ahead, and 5 ahead in RBIs. and he could take stolen bases too. I saw him steal 2 bases at a game in Jacksonville.

I understand that the Cubs want to be careful and not completely rush him, but he needs to get promoted to AAA. Really no reason he should have to keep destroying lower levels.

its a joke. I keep hearing that they will promote him after the all star game. Sounds like something stupid the mets would do

I honestly don't think he will be going anywhere, until the end of July/start of August...Word around the Smokies is that the Cubs are not happy with their decision to send Baez to AAA now and will not "rush" Bryant even tho he is murdering the ball. It could be complete and bogus bs and he is promoted on Wednesday after the All-Star game but that is what I heard tonight. I will say he had a great at at tonight after getting into a 0-2 count he worked it back full and then roped a double down the right field line, just a very impressive piece of hitting.

Led the Southern League in 10 (TEN) offensive categories last month and leading the Triple Crown.
I don't care if it was in Little League that's beast mode.
