Lightbulb What to do with Minis...for real this time

Besides the obvious answers of burning or selling to Petesahutt, I've been trying to figure out something to do with mine. I close on our new home next month and will have my own room already complete with a full wall baseball mural (some unidentifiable game at a stadium) and a ceiling fan with bats as blades and a baseball as the lighting fixture. It was a 7yo boys room, and I'm not changing a thing!

What do you all think of making a chair rail around the room with the minis between two thin pieces of trim? I'm not concerned with them getting damaged. Maybe a border around the top of the room? I've been thinking of framing a subset or two that interest me (Ships, Guys in Hats, Military Leaders, etc.). A final thought was taking some of the more random ones and lacquering them into a tabletop for sorting. If I did this, I would have to include some '90's Topps or other junk wax era cards.

If you have already done some projects with minis, please show them off. I can't wait to hear all of the great SA replies, but I am looking for a few serious ideas in the end.

The mural is out of sight to the left, but covers the entire wall floor to ceiling. Now that I'm really looking at the pic, why would a 7yo boy have his telescope pointed out the side of the house towards the 13yo girls house? There's no way to see a view of the stars on that side of the house...

Use them to make a collage or some other type of original artwork.

Exactly what I was thinking! Also, before anyone asks, I will be doing blackout shades (with remote control ) in the room. Still waiting on a reply from the HOA if I can tint the windows outside.

laminate them. Than when people 100 years later find them they can laugh, wondering why anyone would be stupid enough to laminate a card.

Use the letters on the cards to make ransom notes?

I love the lacquer table idea. I would refinish it and then lacquer it up with baseball cards. What a neat idea!

Edit: like this kinda...
