Default anyone familiar with the International Expo Center?

I have never been to Cleveland, but will be going to the show this year. Any tips on the area? Places to stay away from, etc? Also going to hit the Rock and Roll HOF while in town, but not sure how far away it is from this site.

I am staying in Middleburgh Heights at the Hampton Inn. I have stayed there at least 10 times as I railfan Berea every few years. I have never had a problem eating out at any of the restaurants there in Middleburgh Heights. The hotel is about 4 miles from the Convention Center.

I too am going to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame when I am there.

I'd really like to stay close to the convention so I can use a hotel shuttle rather than have to drive and pay parking every day. Are you familiar with the hotels listed on the national show site?

On the National site there should be links to many hotels so that you can look them all up for information.

If I remember correctly parking is free at this convention center - make sure to ride the Ferris Wheel.

Just if the area is safe (walker friendly) etc. Like I said, I've never been to Cleveland so I don't really know what to expect.

The Berea/Middleburg Hts area that is south of the IX center is safe. W.150th area is safe as well. I do prefer the Berea/ middleburg area just because that is where I grew uo, and it is maybe five minutes from the venue.

As a fellow clevelander I will give you my thoughts. Everyone is correct any of the hotels by the airport or Midberh Heights are good.

However, with the RTA(metro) being safe i love staying downtown. You get a mix of enjoying some nightlife and the casino and a quick ride back out to the IX for the show..Just my thoughts...any questions please pm me!

See everyone there!

How close is that to the show? Would be a great way for those going to a ballgame.

About a 20-25 min RTA ride, sounds much longer then it is but since its not underground a great view of the city even in Cleveland.

The stadium, casino, nightlife all right there around a few of the downtown Marriott properties.

Sorry, I meant where do you catch the train by the IX Center?
