Wrestling Auto Graphs... Opinions?

These were mixed in with some 80's basketball cards I had bought. There are more, I just picked some of the deceased guys (and Hulk) to see what you guys think.

If the autos are authentic, you should get them DNA certified.

I'm not into wrestling at all, I was just looking for some opinions on value or authenticity whatever before I sell/trade them. Wouldn't they sign their real names?

Andre's name was Andre, between him and hulk you made out like a bandit!
I think Elizabeth is also valuable? No clue on actual sale value.
Edit, think Hulk signed as Hulk, not real name.

There's a few more Andre, as well as Hulk. That was all of the Elizabeth though. My dad is somewhat knowledgeable on wrestling, so he's been telling me some of the older story lines.. Pretty neat

Andre was always very popular, here and overseas. He has a very large market I think. He's been deceased for quite some time so I imagine those would be you best ones. There are a couple guys much more familiar with those guys than me. So do a search for Andre the giant and maybe contact a couple of those guys, they will have an idea on how much each of these guys signed and how much value to put on them.

The only real way to get true value for the Andre and Elizabeth autos would be to get them PSA certified. I know you said you probably wont do that but the andre cards could be several hundred each if deemed authentic. As opposed to a few hundred for all 3. you might even be able to get a PSA/DNA quick opinion on them and even that would be better than nothing.

After looking at the Elizabeth autos, they don't look too good. She had a detailed and smooth auto. All her autos were the same, she never changed the style.

Usually, wrestlers will sign autographs with their wrestler names (the name they are best known as), not their real names.

It's really tough to tell just from a scan. PSA/DNA will look at a lot of factors to determine authenticity.

The difference between a certified auto and one that isn't could be hundreds of dollars for autographs of deceased wrestlers such as Andre the Giant.

I guess I can see why on the names. But the Signatures on the Mr. Perfects look nothing like Mr Perfect? Is that his manager or something?

In this case of Mr. Perfect, that is his real name - Curt Hennig.

Here is a known certified autograph of Elizabeth. You can see how she does the "E" in the beginning of her name is smooth and detailed. She has always gone by Elizabeth so her auto has never changed. Even signatures from the 80's look like this one. The ones you have look a bit too sloppy for a Elizabeth auto. Even if it was certified by PSA it might turn most collectors off. The Andres are the most important cards though since he died in the early 90's and has no pack inserted certified autos.

The Andre's are the only ones I would send in. They are worth the gamble to find out if they are legit or not. If they come back legit you can ask $700 and up for each. Just because he doesn't have a lot of signed cards.

I'm a little hesitant to say that these are real.... and the only way to really figure out is to send a few in to see and have the certified. If they turn out real, then you got some nice autos. If not, then..... well you know the rest of the story.
