It seems as though he has been working on a new pitch which he seems to be finding success with. So could this be the year Betances has himself a nice year.? The only reason I ask is a little over a year ago, when I started my interest in the hobby, he was definitely a top prospect with plenty potential, but fell off the map. Now it seems that he is regaining his confidence. Yankees spring training: Dellin Betances' new pitch that might get him to the majors \| NJ.com His delivery/mechanics have also changed quite a bit.
