A great friend of mine won a signed stick by Alex Ovechkin at a silent auction, and gifted it to me. I'm not a hockey guy, but I collect all sports collectibles so I'm locking this up in my collection. It came with a Washington Capitals COA.
My question is (since I'm not a hockey guy), what's it worth?

A lot depends on stick. Is it a game model graphite. Sticks alone could be worth $100+. Is auto on blade, is it nice and bold?
My guess is anywhere between $100-$150 if stick is nice. If it is just wood/replica type stick $50-$75 with nice auto. |

there are a ton of factors that go into value...
Is it game used...of so what year/model? Is it game "issued" (Never actually used in game)? Is it a generic capitals wood stick thats signed? Does it have tape on the blade and handle or no tape at all etc. I have a number of Ovie pieces and if its a game used stick that signed with COA I have seen them go over 1k. If it just a signed generic stick then somewhere in the $150-200 range would be my guess. Nice gift

Im intersted in buying the stick. Would add it to my Caps collection - Laich GU stick, pair of GU Brashear skates, goalie helmet w/6 autos, Neuvy nameplate, and auto'd young guns print. PM me please.
