I figured I start a thread just for bragging rights. I live in Pensacola, FL and we have several great players from many sports from our area. I'll list some of the top names. Lets see if your town can top mine. Try to keep this to your main city and surrounding suburbs.

U cant count WNBA people, 99% cant even dunk so ur cheating right there because that isnt cool, although the lay-up contest at their all star weekend is pretty cool

Hummmmm not too many sports stars besides Tobi Stoner who is a prospect for the Mets AAA in Buffalo and his first RC's come out this year in Finest and others....are big name fame is the guy who came up with the idea for the Big Mac--makes 1/100th of a cent of every big mac sold..lol also john kruck is from about 30 mins where im from too

Actually, on November 30, 2000, Michelle Snow became just the third woman in NCAA college basketball history to dunk during a game. She did so against the University of Illinois, University of South Carolina and Vanderbilt University.

Im still vetoing that selction, The town I live in i dont believe has any celebs. My HS back in Colorado though had several pro athletes, Goose Gossage went to my HS and I met him all the time, I used to party with his son all the time. He was a weird kid. I also played with a guy Roc Alexander who played for the Broncos and the Texans after going to school for Washington, There was quite a few from Colorado Springs but Goose is probably the best

I went to college with Jon Rauch of the Diamondbacks TALLEST Pitcher in the Majors! I actually know him. Also close to where I live is Brandon Webb CY Young winner, and also Mark Reynolds is from about 30 min from me!
