Being a San Diego fan has its perks when it comes to collecting. The fact that everyone ignores our teams helps keep stuff pretty cheap, even for the better players.

Can't imagine having to pay Boston, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, etc prices for my PC cards!

All stars from the 80s because they are cheap.

JK, but my Maddux PC is cheap compared to what most collect.

Rafael Montero (kind of) because I think he's going to be a stud, but will never be too expensive to collect because there will be many times where he is overshadowed by Noah Syndergaard, Zack Wheeler, and, most definitely, Matt Harvey.

Also have little mini PCs of Travis Jankowski and William Carmona because both played for my local college, Stony Brook University. Also, Carmona grew up on Long Island.

Brandon Martin - he's exactly my height, weight, and have the same name.

Josh Rupe - Went to high school with him

Billy Pierce - a great pitcher in the 50's and 60's that gets no respect

Ross Ohlendorf. I collect him because I started a TTM project for my daughter and he was the only one that sent back a personalized autograph to her out of roughly 15 current MLB players. He also used to play for the Yankees which was a nice bonus as well. Very happy to see him with his recent success!

Mike Olt-because I think he is going to be a perennial 30/100 guy for the Cubbies at the hot corner.

Ian Desmond... Goes out to dinner with my aunt often and I hope to meet him within the year.

Marlon Byrd... Hell if I know. Just figured I'd try something new and I love collecting him.

Cito Culver, he's local to where I grew up (Rochester, NY) and was drafted by the Yankees

Man I hope so! I collect Olt because he went to UConn and played for a collegiate league team near me (Danbury Westerners)

It's funny because I would consider my collection pretty high end. If I sold my collection piece by piece it would probably be pretty deep into six figures but the only guy I collect is Orel Hershiser and I probably haven't paid more than $250 for a single card and there are probably only 2-3 cards I need to get that are worth more than $200.

Cody Scarpetta - because I was able to buy his 2011 bowman platinum superfractor for cheap and he was a Brewers player (good prospect too until TJ surgery) and somehow I ended up with 30 of his 35 cards, 3 of them 1/1s

Dellin Betances

NY native who plays for the Yankees. At one time he was a top prospect for the Yankees but now he's been converted into a reliever and investors are trying to cut their losses and see if they can get whatever they can get for those Betances cards. Leaving me to scoop up what they offer for usually less than a third of what they originally coughed up.

What do you think the Cubs will do with him and Bryant? Surely, one of them will have to move to the outfield because Rizzo occupies first.

Holy cow, the Cubs have a bright future. I wouldn't be surprised to pull of a historic multi-title run in the next decade or so.
