Picked up a Blaster at Target on the way home this evening. Here's the results:

Purple Refractors
Trevor Cahill Rc
Shawn Bowman WBC

Prospect Auto
Logan Morrison (Cards has white around edges

)(Should I even bother contacting Topps?

)

Chrome 1st Year Prospect Auto Refractor /500
Max Stassi

(Probably going to keep in the PC for now) (Scratch in scan is on the penny sleeve, not the card)

Nice!

I noticed that if the blaster has a base bowman auto...it should have a chrome auto as well!

Got a Minor Blue and Chisenhall auto!

I know. I saw your break and papiis01's Trout Gold Auto break and decided to take a shot and scratch the itch

I have never seen retail blasters with 2 autographs in them before now. I haven't even gotten a good auto out of retail before.

They must have loaded the retail blasters as well just like the 2-auto hobby boxes!

Hey guys, I assume these are $20 blasters? And how many packs per box, and cards per pack? The 3 Target's around me don't have any...

$20 per box, 8 packs per box, 7 cards per pack. The Target nearest to me only had a couple left. Hope they get more in

Great pulls! I have this theory that in order to placate collectors, Topps intentionally cut back on the amount of BDP cases they sold to wholesalers/card shops (I think they're sold out of the product at the factory) and stocked whatever boxes were out there including retail blasters. That's the only explanation that makes sense!

the blasters average an auto about every three blasters.
don't get your hopes up for one an auto in every one.

From what I've read here, it's definitely an average of 1 per box-whether its someone buying 2 boxes and getting 1 in each box, or they buy 2 boxes and get 2 in one, and none in the other. It definitely seems like at least an average of 1 per box-but we don't have a huge sample size either I guess.

I can't say. I've only opened 1 box. However, I have seen that others have not gotten an autograph at all in a box. I imagine its like wilsonsingles said, an average of 1 auto in every 3 blasters.

I've opened three blasters myself (after seeing all of the hits here) and was with someone who opened two more. Of the five, we got -0- chrome autos and one (Logan Morrison) prospect auto. Also, none of the boxes had a parallel better than an xfractor.

Those of you that have pulled monster hits may want to quit while you're ahead

I don't think that mine was "monster" either. I was just excited to actually break even or be able to make a profit from a retail blaster. I see what endthecurse is saying and will probably think twice before buying another.

OK... maybe not a "monster", but definitely a heck of a pull from retail

Nice work!

Honestly, any auto from a retail blaster (even the Morrison base AU I pulled) should be considered a win. Assuming the odds on the wrapper are true, hits are few and far between.

I got no autos in 3 blasters and one crappy x-fractor.

Oddly enough in one of the boxes each pack had 11 cards.

Well I guess I was wrong. It seems maybe the breaks without autos haven't been posted on here? I just kept seeing people pull auto's. But it makes sense, if I busted a few with nothing great I wouldn't bother posting as it'd just be a waste

I pulled an Anthony Hewitt auto out of 1 blaster....seems like the only people bosting their breaks here are the people who hit big...not the people who miss!

The retail boxes (24 count) are guaranteeing an auto per box from what I saw at Target. Half the box was missing so I passed since the auto could've been gone.
