Patches look sweet. Autos not so much....look at the bubbling on each of them. Looks like they chose the wrong cardstock or pens this year.

I think there is going to be a huge uproar about the awful autos when this stuff actually hits shelves. Same with Contenders. Everyone will want replacements for the bubbling ones, while the "good" autos will sell for a premium most likely.

The thing is, people have been complaining about the autos for months since Panini posted the first pics on their Facebook page, yet they've done nothing to fix the issue as they've done many more signings since and have used the same card stock / markers.

Yep. Looks like National Treasures will fall through the floor this year unless Panini actually does something about this.

And we all know that these are the RARE patches that pop out. Should we even bother counting how many 1 colors will show up?

I don't mind the card design but the streaked and bubbling autographs are terrible. Would it have been that card to have a design that had the autograph area less glossy? or even slightly texturized to be able to hold an autograph that much better?

I think the design is an improvement over years past but the auto issue should not exist in such a premium product.

Terrible. Panini is really not doing well in regards to listening to their fans. I'm a fan of theirs on facebook, and I tell them every chance I get along with many others that there's a problem that needs to be addressed. The design is one of the most ugly I've seen in years. I might just stick to 09 SPA/Ultimate/Exquisite for my RCs with the way things are shaping up. Say what you will about Upper Deck's customer service, at least their designs are usually pretty damn good.

I will not be going within a mile of that stuff because of the crappy auto quality. If I buy any high end 2009 products, it looks like UD is getting my business this year.

It is always a great product.

Price point is a smidge high though.

Tons better quality and product than exquisite though.

I do like the fact that they have a "white-out" area for the signatures though. They have been using the silver stickers for so many years, once they switched to the clear ones the autos just get lost on their dark backgrounds.

They always build their cards backwards to save money. Make an insert with ne regard for an autograph or jersey window. Than add the autograph or jersey window where they fit. You can tell with these that they at least tried to make a real autographed/jersey card. Unlike Gridiron Gear etc.

I think it is funny that they are marketing the product with the crap rookies. Why no pics of the better players?
