Check your Targets!!!

I stopped by Target last night to look for Heritage blasters ... but when I saw what they had just stocked in their "Extreme Value" trays, I changed my mind. I bought the following:

- Two (2) 2011 Topps Value baseball boxes - $11.99 each
- Two (2) 2011 BDPP blasters - $11.99 each
- One (1) 2011 Bowman Chrome blaster - $11.99

All that for $65 w/ tax.

Of course, I did not hit anything. I checked another Target on my way in last night, and they did not have the same variety ... but both stores had some very good stuff all at the $11.99 prices. Among the rest were 2011 Topps Chrome BB, 2011 Topps Chrome FB, 2012 A&G, etc.

I picked up some different ones when I was at a Target - they had 2010 Upper Deck, 2009 UD A Piece of History and Upper Deck Goudey for $11.99

Seriously, they stocked a TON of stuff when they came to do the Heritage stock. Those are fun, cheap rips, and you never know when you'll hit something nice.

It seems the selection varies by store. I bought a 2011 Bowman Platinum and a 2012 Bowman w/chrome. Nothing good except an Oscar chrome base but still fun for $11.99 per.

Don't think any near me in the tri-state area have these sale areas. Are they just marked down in the card section or like in a 40% off basket?

Heck, went to a place like K-Mart where I'd figured it'd be dirt cheap and they have 2010 stuff marked up 10%, not down.

My Target had blasters of 2011 Bowman and 2012 Bowman for the $11.99. I got the last box of each and get a 2011 Bowman International Bryce Harper and 2011 Bowman Zach Wheeler auto.

They have these cardboard trays that hold like 12 blasters each. Everything in those is marked down to $11.99. Heck, found a blaster of 2009 BDPP in there a few weeks ago. They just started doing this in the last few months ... seems they restock every 2-3 weeks, you just have to check, usually on Wednesdays.

saw some 4-pack repacks for $5.99 at my local target. each one had a pack of 2011 bowman chrome showing in the front window. unfortunately some jerk ripped the packages and stole the bowman chrome pack out of 4 out of the 5 boxes.

My Target was stocked with the 40%-off blasters. They had 2011 and 2012 Ginters, 2012 Archives, 2012 Heritage and 2012 Bowman (paper). I wish I had enough cash to get them all so I only got the Bowman. Hit nada

I have three Targets around me and none have discounted blasters....ugh....

I have bought for of these this week and ALL four have had hits.

Also I don't know what's going on but I check target about once a week and for the last four weeks there has been random rack packs of old product showing up and I buy it on clearance and there's been a hit all four times. I'm 8 for 8 right now...yes I should quit.

I pulled an awesome andrew luck auto and an Andrew luck Jersey from Rookies and stars.

Pulled a sweet Darvish auto from chrome and pulled a relic of Harper in A and G blaster!

My Target never has anything except UD Heroes football and one time they had some 2012 Heritage 40% off, but that was months ago....I'm jealous of you guys getting this great stuff.

I wish there was a Target near me. All my Wal Mart has are 20 dollar 2011 Topps Series 2 and a boat load of 2013 Topps. I'm going this weekend, hopefully they'll have heritage and maybe some 2012 Update or just reduced prices.

Mine always has Press Pass racing in those bins $11.99. Sucks.

They do get the 2012 Heritage boxes in a lot though, those are $9.99.

I just checked my Target....they didn't have anything discounted. They didn't even have 2013 Heritage yet!

Just got back from Target today (in North Charleston, SC) and they had two 2011 Topps Update Value Boxes (priced at $11.99). They had a few 2011 Series One baseball for $11.99 as well.

I picked up a 2011 Topps Update Value Box as I don't have a Trout RC and at least you know you get a Harper card (which I don't have). Unfortunately they didn't have any baseball blasters of 2013 Heritage - which was why I really went there in the first place!.

I have seen discounted 2012 Gypsy Queen, 2012 Heritage, and 2011 Allen and Ginter at this Target before. The Target near my house never has the discounted boxes though which is strange.

My Target had a box of:

2010 Topps Chrome
2011 Topps Chrome
2012 Bowman Chrome. (Two boxes)

The interesting thing was that they had some of those at the regular price ($19.99). I think maybe it was just to get rid of some but not all of the 2012 BC?

Oh yeah....beware of the cashier. He tried taking off the new UPC thinking maybe I was trying to scam them? make sure they don't charge you full price!

the few targets i have here on the island are usually prety dry on older stuff on sale. I do see the occasional 4 pack for 5.99 with a bowman chrome or draft pack in it. Never got much out of those though
