Question Transaction Question

I sold a 07-08 Chronology True Rookie Auto Kevin Durant to my_onni for $400 goods via PayPal. I believe he was hurt recently and I wish him all the best. He paid on September 1st and after some slight confusion I shipped it to him on September 25th (or around there.) He is located in Canada so I knew shipping would take some time. DC# LK149422863US It says the package is in transit. On October 1, he filed a claim to protect himself in case it did not arrive. Today, October 9th, PayPal closed the case and refunded him the money. I know he is injured and most likely will not respond to any of my messages for a couple days. I also know it was my fault for shipping so late. So does it usually take this long to get to Canada? I know he is a good guy and hopefully sends me the $$ back once he receives the card. Should I contact PayPal? Thanks any help is greatly appreciated!

Wow you took almost a month to ship? No wonder you lost the claim.

Shipping to Canada can take up to a 3 weeks to a month, as with any international package. Contact paypal after its delivered

Once the card gets there, just call up paypal again and give them the tracking number. Once they see that the card was delivered, they'll give my_omni the option to either return the card or give u the money. And if he doesn't, then paypal will just take the money from him. So as long as the tracking shows that it gets there, u're good.

hmm, from my previous ebay experience (I'm living in Vancouver, BC)
it took around 1-1.5 weeks for me to receive my packages from sellers in west coast and 2+ weeks (sometimes it does get to 3 weeks) for mail from east coast...

assuming that he's in Toronto it could be the other way around, so I would assume somewhere between 1.5-2 weeks for the card to arrive.
So if you ship it on the 25th, he probably won't have it on the 1st...
