Trent Richardson will travel to Pensacola (FL) on Thursday to have his left knee examined by Dr. James Andrews.
It may be a simple checkup with the surgeon who originally performed Richardson's February 3 knee scope, or there may be more to it. We'll just have to wait and see. Richardson experienced soreness in the surgically repaired knee during recent practices, and the Browns have shut him down for the time being

It's all business as usual in Cleveland. Players on the team still need to get in a motorcycle accident, get arrested, contract a staph infection, get stabbed by their girlfriend, or get hit in the eye by a penalty flag before the start of the regular season.

His value is going to take a big hit, and even if he has knee troubles for a few years and then flames out of the league, he'll still have some random big games where you'd be able to sell them the week after and make some money

The Browns have swung and missed on way too many draft picks to become successful. Their scouts and talent evaluators need to improve and they need to make better decisions on which positions are most important. I'd say they also need to counsel their picks better to prevent them from crashing on motorcycles, getting arrested, drug suspensions, etc.

I've seen improvement in the Browns over the last two years. They have no run defense, they beat themselves at times and they play in a competitive division. I tell a lot of SF Bay Area locals that I'd like to see the Browns play the Seahawks, Rams and Cardinals each twice a year.

It's not about being a hater. I am a Texans fan number one but a Browns fan secondarily; however, having a consistent flow of garbage year in and year out, you have to call it for what it's worth...well, it's just utter sadness. Arguably the best QB they've have within the last 15 years was Derek Anderson, and after an overachievement of success, the next year he was trash in the Browns eyes. As a Texans fan I am all about cheering an hoping for the best but when you're a treadmill for disaster you have to be willing to take a thump in the ass from the general populous. They may not have legal issues and they may not have a player that draws attention (other than Peyton Hillis who obviously the team thinks is not worth his weight in onions), but that should clearly be a definitive position as to how god awful the team has been and is. They drafted a 28 year QB to be their RC QB....and you expect better than last yr?

I, as a Texans fan, wrote last year off and believe within the realistic possibility of them not being as "good" as last year. However, you as a Browns fan believe in crapping in one hand and hoping in another and continually believing that hope (yes that's what's a fan is about) is the end all of what will happen.

In summation, you can delete everything above, but calling people haters is the same thing as not wanting to acknowledge the reality....the Browns are a joke unless proven otherwise, and so are the Texans for that matter. Consistency is the only cure for cynicism.
