27 blisters of 2010 Press Pass PE football

One of my local stores was offering a huge discount on the usually $14.99 blisters of 2010 Press Pass Portrait Edition football, so I grabbed a total of 25 of them today, in addition to two I bought a couple weeks ago closer to the regular price. I'm very happy with how they turned out:

Packs one and two included autos of James Starks (whom you'll see in a second) and this Rusty Smith:

Today's packs included these hits:

Yeah, that's five of Webb, which was annoying, but having three of Starks, one of the better subjects in the set, certainly helped. So did the Wal-Mart Exclusives auto of C.J. Spiller, #d 02/25. The Clausen jersey is a gold version #d 193/199. I may have to go back for more of these soon!

Everything's available FS/FT but isn't in my FS/FT album yet so I won't have a formal thread for a bit. Feel free to PM me with offers in the meantime, however, on a first come, first served basss.

Nice getting autos..but sheesh...90% of those guys never even had a shot in the league...rusty smith?? Huh?

Eta: it seems Mr smith played 2 games for the Titans last year..0 TD's 4 ints....outchie

Yeah, that seems to be the case with the college-themed sets like SAGE and Press Pass, but really sometimes the NFL sets are just as bad. In my case I'm often after the Michigan players more anyway, some of whom don't even make it into the pro sets, so these can be nice. Plus they're on-card, and better yet, they're not mistake-prone like Topps is.

These were at a couple Meijers near me for $5.59 having originally gone for $14.99, so I went nuts today and grabbed all 15 at one store and another 10 at a second. I may go back and grab the rest soon!

Juice was actually the first auto I pulled today, and I thought it was fun to at least get a Big Ten player I knew well instead of a guy who was really a big-time scrub.
