Default Ebay is getting worse and worse!!!

Ebay is just getting ridiculous with what things are being sold for on there. I can't believe the bidding only went up to $1,050 on this card and closed that way with 60 watchers it went up $25 in the last hour.....UNREAL

I agree with you but, look at the horrible condition on the front with all the chipping. I cant imagine what it looks like on the back.

yeah noticed that too, and only single colored on both, i bet you if it was 3 clrs on each you'd get like 1.3-1.4k for it.

it almost seems like it would go for more without the jersey swatches...
that sounds dumb but it might be true

Excuse my ignorance, so that went way too low is what you're saying? How much would it have brought if the economy wasn't in the tank and buried six feet under?

Is that from 07-08? Do people pay more for high end stuff out of sets like that if it's older? Or does year not really matter when vets are involved?

You got to be kidding me IT is NOT ebay it is the economy and collectors are being more selective...and want the condition of the card to justify the bid
That card in question is not going to do that.

Actually, this brings up what I've been noticing. I love Chronology basketball and I've noticed a lot of times that cards in other countries sell way higher than they probably should. Do you guys think those are legit and it's just that the buyer is in the same country so they're willing to pay that much more because of it?

honestly I did not think the card is in bad shape at all. I figure its Lebron and Jordan to 5 I mean come on. But here is another one this week that only went to $1025 which I thought was way to low as well. 1/1

My opinion regarding the higher $ items...for what it is worth....you need to do a buy it now with a best offer. You can always run the auction again and lower the price if you want. Why take a gamble that the right buyers might not be watching the item at a certain time. It just is not worth the risk of "losing" the extra dollars you are looking to get by running a regular auction. They will make an offer if interested. Just my thoughts....

If you had a price in mind that you thought they should sell for then why didn't you list them BIN BO ? With higher end pieces like that you're better off anyway, since you can screen who actually will be buying your card.

The matt ryan was a sticker autograph! Paying over 1K for a sticker auto is nothing short of idiotic! It isn't a good investment, stickers are losing their appeal and over time less and less people will accept them. I would rather have one of the NT #/99 auto patches w/ the on-card auto than that.

Collectors now have many more choices and sellers to buy from. Demand may be a bit lower due to the economy, but because of the proliferation of product, there's more to choose from and collectors know if they miss out on one auction, another similar one will pop up shortly.

Correct !!!
You can use the $30 day option to list your items with BIN's and BO so once an offer comes and you like it then approve if not then wait
