Default To buy or not to buy?: 2011 Topps jumbo case

I'm seeking advice since some of you here have already purchased 2011 Topps jumbo cases (or boxes), and in some cases do that kind of thing on a regular basis. I've looked at a good portion of the breaks here and have a decent idea of what to expect to pull. My question is, as a casual collector more than a seller, is it in my best interest to get a case?

I usually get a hobby or jumbo box every year to pull myself a set and maybe other stuff to trade. This year I thought it might be fun getting a case so I'd have a set for me, maybe a couple other cool cards to keep, but mostly stuff to sell, including a couple sets and hopefully some big hits. I guess the main question would be, for those of you who bought these, are you making a decent amount of money back on them with what you're pulling? I'm not looking to get more than 75% of the cost back, but I want to know if there's enough value in what you can sell to feel reasonably happy with the results. When you're listing things for sale here, on eBay or elsewhere, are you getting good returns?

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds with some feedback, and more thanks to those who've shared their box and case breaks here.

I opened 4 cases of Jumbos and was happy with the results. The Topps baseball & football flagship products typically deliver good value. I busted 8 cases of BB Series 2 and will end up making about $1000. If you purchase a case, you should be able to make a master set (or very close to one) and a few 440 card sets as well. You'll get 12 Rookie Patches, which do decent on eBay & 24 Autos. I have always thought that most cases deliver a "case hit" even if it's not advertised on the sell sheet. I had one nice auto in each of my 4 cases. If you pull the trigger and end up needing a few cards or help with anything, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Is the jumbo case a hobby or retail case? I checked on BO and couldn't tell.
