My first ever high end box:

2008 Topps Triple Threads

Had no clue what could be pulled since I was a noob at the end of the summer in 2008 and all my LCS had was Topps Chrome lol

Well I started watching Chris's vids online somehow and saw a box of TTT so not knowing where to buy I bought one off eBay. After contacting Chris himself and hearing the stories of how people pull the case hits then sell off the rest of the case on eBay I didn't figure I get crap lol

Well the box came in and I hit a scrub rookie auto of I don't know who and knew the other was the non auto card

Well then this lovely card popped out and only after about 2 weeks of starting to get in the hobby again since I was a kid:

I then sold it on eBay for a little over $700 I think and I was HOOKED!!!

I collected as a young kid and unfortunately stopped in 2004 when I was 14 and sold a large majority of my collection so I have no clue who or what my first auto or relic was.

But since I started collecting again in August 2010, the first pack I opened was a 2010 Tribute Baseball pack, here's the hit.

I didnt really start collecting til the end of 2006 around Dec. I had some x-mas money and went to target to buy some packs. back then target sold individuals hobby packs and they had 2006 UD Sweet Spot Update. It was 10 dollars a pack and i had 12 dollars. I was gonna buy the first pack until I saw the second one was like 10x the size of it so i bought the second pack. On my way home I open it and couldnt believe what I saw.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I didnt even know they put stuff like this in packs haha. I only wish back then I took better care of my cards cause this card has some damaged corners.

I had the same experience at KMart.

They had nearly 40 Blister Packs of 06 SS Update. I looked through them and found 5 or 6 Super Thick Packs.

I bought one and got a Tad Iguchi Autograph. I didn't buy any of the others.

I was 13 and $10 was a lot to spend on a pack, let alone $60 at once. I wonder what was in those other packs......

The first game used I pulled was a Rey Ordonez Jersey card out of 97 Upper Deck. Sold it to a card shop for $75.

This thread brings back memories of breaking wax back in high school. I had a killer local super market and was buying two or three hobby boxes a week from the local card store. This was my best pull of about 6-7 hobby boxes of 2001 Topps. Back then this was a CASE HIT.

Well I don't remember my first ever autograph or memorabilia card, but I did however pull my very first non printing plate 1/1 just today. I went to a WalMart and bought three 2011 Topps Series 2 rack packs. Out of the first pack I hit a Canary 1/1 of Mitch Maier. I would post a picture, but I don't know how to.

Can someone tell me how to insert a picture in a comment post, because BO sucks on explaining how to? You can post on here or send me a very detailed PM. Thanks.

I was eleven years old and oh god I can still feel his beard.

Oh wait, first auto. Out of prime cuts, it was a hank aaron auto quad relic 3/5.
