Default Whatnot Consignment Sellers ?

Hello, I’m curious if anyone here knows the best whatnot consignment sellers or do these even exist? I heard it mentioned in a YouTube video recently & am intrigued because the quickness of whatnot may yield better rates for me the person co-signing I’d think. And easier on seller also.

I’m talking primarily $1 - $5 stuff. I have endless amounts of this stuff. Most eBay co-signers charge $1 per auction , 80% payout. So it’s too risky to sell there. I’d lose $1 every time a card gets no bids (I’d rather lose card than lose $1).

If a whatnot seller has some sort of Offer like - “payout between 30% - 70%, if no bids at 99 cent card is kept” I’d be interested. I’d literally just want 25 cent - $1 each for the cards.

So example: if I sell 3 cards for $1, $2, & $3 each -

Payout from eBay co-signer is 80 cents + $1.60 + $2.40 - $3 = $1.80 total
Even if whatnot seller is 50% payout but they keep cars if doesn’t sell, no per card fee - payout is $3.00 total.

Or another question any eBay sellers that have consignment rates that’s not a fee per card (just payout rate)?

COMC is the best consignment shop for $2-$5 stuff if you can expect a decent sell-through at that price point. If you don't want to sell the singles yourself or put them on COMC yourself, your best bet with this stuff is probably to sell it in lots to resellers.

They are out there, really just have to do some research and ask around during a show. Despite what others have said, Whatnot is not all bad. There are many legit and fantastic sellers on there. They tend to be the mid volume sellers, not the big yelling breakers. I have bought and sold on whatnot and have had pretty much all positive experiences.

Some people love it and others hate it, just like COMC, E-Bay and other platforms. Check all of them and figure out which one works the best for you. Just because I say COMC is the best does not mean it is the best for you.

Thanks for the feedback. I of course know of COMC. I really don't like that specific strategy for me though - Hate how you have to pay fee up front per card & again, these are $1-$3 type cards. Lots of these would sit on COMC or I'd barely make anything.

Whatnot seemingly could be a better co-signer than Ebay because the initial cost for listing/positing card is practically zero (meaning if a card doesn't sell on whatnot, there's practically no work besides showing the card on a stream for 30 seconds ... Unlike Ebay where you still have to take pic of card / list etc).

I guess I'll do my own research more.
