So while I love modern for some Eagles players. I recently got my first card from 2000 in a Brady rookie.
Got me thinking. What are some of your favorite players/cards from pre 2002? I want to explore more of those cards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not trying to throw shade here - how old are you? I have a ton of cards 2002 and before.

Copy. I have PSA graded Niner rookies from 1948-present, so I have a lot of vintage (to present) in the PC.

1981 Topps Joe Montana. That would make a nice pairing to your Brady RC. Montana was his idol and the second greatest qb of all time and quite frankly, perfectly safe at his all time position. I don’t see anybody today taking over his 2 spot.

Montana played in the NFL when it was football in its purest form. Brady had to blow the doors off just to sit at Joe's table before kicking him out of the GOAT house.
Today's NFL is a bastardized version of football. It's not really a knock on today's players, they don't make the rules but it's laughable to put any qb playing right now on Joe's all time level.

And when receivers could be touched without ticky tack flags. He had tighter windows to throw the ball. He beat Dan Marino, John Elway and a solid boomer Esiason in the Super Bowl not to mention played against all time great defenses in his own conference. Stiffer competition.

If I were you, I would start with the greats: 89 Barry Sanders, 84 marino/elway, 81 montana, 76 payton, 72 Staubach.
where you are an Eagles guy, I would go after Reggie White. I am a Patriots fan, but Reggie is my favorite defensive player. get both of his USFL cards, 1984 and 1985 and his first Topps card, 1986. |

Also 1986 topps Jerry rice. He’ll always be the GOAT WR.
