Unbelievable. I just watched Misery the other day too. I'm stunned at this news and to lose his wife in the same manner

My heart breaks for their kids and I hope they find the person or person(s) responsible. I can't fathom how this could happen

Internets (which are never wrong) are saying it was one of their children who did it.
We'll see.

The Sure Thing, Spinal Tap, Princess Bride, Spinal Tap, A Few Good Men, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, what a list of classics he gave us, even beyond what he did as an actor. He recently made a documentary about Albert Brooks that was excellent. He grew up alongside many of his fellow entertainers and had 60+ year friendships with many of them, including Brooks.
This reminds me of Phil Hartman's murder, but somehow even worse.

Multiple sources have reported their 32 year old son Nick is the suspect in the killings.

Damn he was such a great director. Loved his movies. Have many of them in my collection.

To think a family member did this is terrible. Especially this time of year where families are supposed to come together.

Saw that in the theater when it came out. Reiner was on a magnificent run during that time.

Reports are their son did it. Drug addiction a factor. Horrible.

Throats slit during argument. Drug addict and mentally ill. Rob seemed a bit mentally ill too. Sad all around. Rest in peace.

God the internet is a horrible thing at times.

I can't tell you HOW MANY people responded with "I didn't agree with his politics but...."
Then you have others citing the Epstein List. That's why he was killed
Others saying the current Administration had him killed.

Lots of fringe kooks, like we get in these threads.

Maybe you need a psych eval before being allowed to use the interwebz

I get what you are saying but repeating what they say to this thread basically gives them more power to spread their negativity.

The internet should be shut off on Sundays. Or something like that.

No Twitter?

But how would we ever find out what is really happening in the world?

But in all honesty I believe that you are correct. The world would be a better place.

And then you have the leader of the free world saying they deserved it, because, they opposed him. So there's that.

What sticks out the most about Rob is his performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. He stole every single scene he was in I thought. Him going ballistic because someone called him on a Tuesday night while he was trying to watch The Equalizer, then picking up the phone and talking with an British accent and being all polite, and then going back to insane-o mode when he hung up, had me losing my mind in the theater.

You combine his acting talent with his directing talent, and he truly was one of those guys in Hollywood who people forgot was an S-tier talent at one point in his life.

RIP to him and his wife, under no circumstances does anyone deserve to go out like that, by your child nonetheless.

I still think his best work was on All in the Family. The Meathead vs Archie bits are priceless.

RIP Meathead.

Look, I voted for DJT three times (and to anyone reading this, feel free to block me if that offends you) but 45/47 should not have said that.

Lack of compassion is not befitting the Oval Office. He should think before talking in this case. I'm sure he'll get an earful from Melania like he does on some things he blurts out
