Default Inherited 150 Unopened NBA Boxes - ISO Help

Hi Everyone. I have a pretty large collection of unopened NBA wax, and am looking for some help with understanding what I own.

Upon some quick research, I realize some of these boxes are highly valuable 03-04, 07-08, 08-09, 09-10 in particular.

I see that the two 2009-10 Topps Chrome Basketball boxes I have are highly sought after due to a Steph Curry 1/1 rookie that people are after.

I am looking to eventually liquidate the collection, but want to be confident that I understand fair value and best/safest/most efficient ways to go about that.

Below is a spreadsheet where I took inventory, with photo links attached. Feel free to comment here, on the spreadsheet, or reach out with any advice whatsoever. If anyone can help me populate the red columns E & F on the Unopened Box tab, that would be amazing.

Thank you!

That's quite a wax stash!

For some of that stuff, I would reach out to the Big 3 and see what they would give you for various boxes, especially the popular stuff.

They're all very safe and easy to deal with.

I collect sealed wax. Unless you need the money, consider holding some of these for a while......

That being said, best way to sell sealed is in person cash only. People who buy stuff like this will fly to you (literally) and pay cash. I'm into late 90s and am currently looking over your sheet. Best of luck!

Thanks! Am a fan of in person and cash. Safest bet. Do you have advice on best place to list/post the sheet I made and accept inquiries?

this..

do not sell online unless to one of the big 3, you will risk potential chargebacks up to 6 months (or longer)

cash in person sales

may be worth it to set up at a show and sell that way (again, cash only though)

1. You might be able to find sales on 130point. That tackles eBay and most auction houses and it goes beyond the standard 3 months.

2. BO doesn't allow wax sales so you might want to get rid of the first row on the spreadsheet.

Good luck, that's an awesome collection!

The Big 3 are Blowout Cards, Dave & Adam's, and Steel City Collectibles. I recommend going this route as well. You could send them your sheet and ask what they will pay for each box.

Some Ebay co-signers sell Wax boxes too but got to read fine print for those also (meaning may be certain eras, etc. But for some they'll pay out around 85% for price ends at in auction)

Did you inherit the single cards too & what's your plan for those?

I see now. Your best bet would be to sell them all to blowout probably.

Also looking to liquidate cards as well. Just know that's a bit more time consuming so wanted to start with wax efforts. But am open to inquiries

Only if your objectives are get a bunch of lowball offers and unserious buyers

BO is one of the worst possible places to try and sell cards

it is rare enough that he'll get top dollar for it. Plus blowout is pretty close to New Jersey. If he's really trying to sell all of it it is a no brainer imo.

Reach out to Fanatics to run a Dutch Auction for you for the lot, and then you will get 10X what it is worth from the breakers.

The Big 3 will rip you off. Do not go that route.

Can anyone help me find the value or at least recent sale info anywhere of this 2007-08 Upper Deck SP Game Used Editions Basketball Hobby Box? I cannot find anywhere but own two unopened.

https://www.dacardworld.com/sports-c...by-box#details

What's a good approach to finding info like this for random old boxes other than Sold Items filter toggle on eBay and crossing your fingers you find one?
