Default Cincy Traded for Flacco???

I understand they had to make a move for a QB, But Flacco? The O-Line is horrendous and Falcco is a statue, he's going to get murdered back there. Of all the QBs they could have went after this was not the one. They really should have went after Winston IMO

Exactly! Winston with those receivers they have in Cincinnati would have been magic. Even if Jameis was tossing his no look bombs, Chase and Higgins would have tracked most of em down.

Reports are, they didnt even try. They called every team except the Giants for some reason.

Why would the Browns want to help a division opponent
?

Why are you posting stupid things?

The Browns move up 30 spots in the draft

The Browns would never play Flacco again… he’s an old man

The Bengals still aren’t making the Playoffs

Why in the world would the Browns care?

Rhetorical question dummy

Honestly I thought this was going to happen 6 weeks ago

I said, in another thread, we trade Flacco during the preseason when someone got hurt

Unfortunately (fortunately?) the one that got hurt was Pickett

I honestly thought Flacco wouldn’t make the roster and we’d carry the other 3

Flacco is an awesome guy

He’s absolutely horrible at Football… the Jets and Colts know it. We had a nice little 3 game run

Not sure this really helps them in any way, have you seen Flacco move and have you seen Cinys O-line play? Not a good situation, if that was the move they were going to make just have just stayed with Browning and kept the pick.

It’s a win/win

Let’s be real about 5th and 6th rounders… but it does get the Browns from the late 6th to the early 5th (they traded the Detroit pick)… so maybe 25-35 spots for a guy that was never going to play again and is an old man. This isn’t trading a 25 year old where maybe he develops. Flacco is done after this year

Bengals throw a Hail Mary that he captures some magic with Chase and Higgins

None of it actually matters though. Both teams are picking in the lottery at this point

Flacco will look like Stephen Hawking in 2-3 games. Im really shocked that Cincy has totally failed to address the O-line the past few years. Burrow probably on the phone with Luck asking how's life without football right now.

Lol, Flacco isn't moving the needle at all. Browning will back playing before the year is done. Either due to ineffectiveness or injury.

Browns must feel ok with letting the season play out with the two rookies. Wins aren't a priority. Player development and figuring out what they have will be. I would feel bad for Garrett, but he knew full well he chose money over wins.

Looks like the Bengals just released Brett Rypien as well, so now its just Flacco and Browning on the active roster.

I saw a stat over the weekend that Hebert is more hit then both

Good looking dudes with money? I’d be out

Andrew Luck wasn’t good looking

And the Browns by NOT helping the Bengals could allow them to keep losing.
Why are you posting stupid things? In case you have not noticed, the Bengals are one game out of first place and the Browns are one game behind them. Why help them?

And even if I bought the "Browns move up 30 spots BS", we all know that the Browns are going to blow the draft anyway

But my point is, if you are one game behind the Bengals, and they are one game out of first place, don't throw them a life raft

Sounds good

If you think the Browns or Bengals are making the playoffs? Well that’s on you

I know LOTS about ball. I know you do NOT help out an opponent in your division who's a game out of first place and a game ahead of you.

You clearly don't realize how rare in season trades to a division opponent is

Of course I don't, but they certainly want to try to (and NOT help a division opponent)
