It was pretty amazing to see what he did in such a short amount of time between college, the NHL and the Summit Series'.

I tried reading his book once, but the guy was too intellectual and the book was a tough read, at least for me... His brain was just on another level...

Can't say many players quit a sport out of sheer boredom cause it doesn't seem to post any sort of challenge for them like him...

Google his message to Lane Hudson and the Habs from June. Was considering listing my Topps PSA 8 rookie. It's not going anywhere now.

I have his last hockey card and the image is iconic. He was a strange duck for that era with his education and retirement at or near his prime.
