I'm sure there will be no Fanatics shenanigans with this.

Notice their weekly "RELEASING THIS WEEK" post on twitter this afternoon, post below. They conveniently completely skip over the Triumphant Tennis release. No mention, no price, nothing.
It's as if they're purposely keeping the public unaware of these with how much they plan to backdoor this to breakers.

If this is all sticker autos, if I had to guess, they needed to find a way to monetize all the extra tennis stickers they had lying around…Hence magically we have triumphant. Royalty has a decent amount of on card. So wonder if that’s the tennis equivalent of museum and then they try to go much higher end with a dynasty or transcendent tennis or not….. obviously. Problem with tennis as a collecting sport is it lies somewhere in with f1 and ufc in that there’s only a so many tennis players ppl actually want and it doesn’t change a whole lot year to year to year outside of the new shining star that rises once in several blue moons…so the collectors would be better off if they only manufactured tennis products every couple years… |

Pass. Redundant set like graphite and the checklist is not great. Nadal, Djoker, & Alcaraz, yes -- but rcs besides fearnley (maybe joint/noskova/parks) are underwhelming. Missing opportunity to include Fonseca, Lehecka, Michaelson, Pericard, Mensik's auto, Cobolli's auto, Diallo's auto & wta talent like Maneiro, jovic, Boisson, & Kessler.
Including Fonseca & Fed alone would have carried the set. |

I do think 2024 Royalty (chrome/sapphire to a lesser degree) will retain some value just because it was a well done set full of rcs and 1st year cards. |

Now a preorder and not the real release. Another free loan for Fanatics until whenever they decide to actually ship them.
These preorder free loans are getting old. |

My math says 6750 boxes, assuming these are the base parallels (which they have shown): /99, /50, /15, /10, /5, /1

I agree with what's been said by others.
While it's great having Nadal autos (albeit stickers) in this set, Topps/Fanatics is absolutely oversaturating a niche market. Just way too many products for a small group of tennis card collectors. Sure, the number of tennis card collectors (as well as investors/flippers/hybrids) will continue to increase over the years but we're not anywhere close (demand-wise) to the number of products/cards readily available now. And, if they continue printing cards/sets as they are, they'll only slow such growth IMO. Not to mention, I don't recall seeing many (if any) annual statistics on the back of Topps tennis cards (like one sees in baseball/basketball/football for most base cards). If they're going to produce the same set annually (and they really should trim down on the number of unique sets for now), they should start incorporating such info on the back of most (or all) base cards. |
