Default Singles Club—how was it?

Sounds like they many slabs, did their value boxes deliver good value?

We loaded up within the first hour on Wednesday night. Tons of great value in those boxes. With the way people were going through everything, it's not a surprise that the only thing giving weekend people hope was getting to a fresh box before anyone else. I really loved how everyone kind of worked together to find what each other wanted. I didn't see that anywhere else. Wednesday night going into the first half of Thursday was the highlight of my weekend and SC was a huge part of that.

I was there 1st thing on Wednesday and I agree, everyone was really working together. I had Dr. Jim Beckett sign my Beckett #1 (1st Baseball issue from 1984) at the Singles Club on wednesday.Click image for larger version

I bought more than 4 shoeboxes of slabs Wednesday and Thursday. They were LOADED!

I didn't spend as much time as usual in the 50 cent boxes, but did snag a nice pile Wednesday night after I loaded up on slabs. I went back Saturday afternoon and was still able to find some great value in the 50 cent boxes and picked up a couple hundred more singles.

Singles Club always delivers, but this year was by far the best bang for my buck at their booth!

What kinds of cards are there? Each time I get there, it looks like it's cleaned out with a girl sitting at the entrance with a cash box (is that the booth?)...

Best part of the Singles Club is the 50,000 new .50 cent cards that are brought out each day! The Slabs 6/$100 were also great as Beau mentioned with new ones each morning thru Friday!
