Default 1998 Fleer Tradition Retail Box (18ct.)

Card store nearby bought a collection of late 90's wax.
Thought this would be a fun throwback for not a silly amount of cash.

(It was factory sealed before I ripped)

Insert Odds

Although glossy, not much sticking

Nice assortment of HOF'ers and stars

Remember Diamond Ink? 500 points to redeem for a signed baseball.
One in each pack, along with the Million Dollar Moments contest.

Subsets, hit two Griffey cards for the PC. (Golden Moments corner ding)

Hit a bonus Rookie Sensations, solid pair.

Lumber Co. is an embossed insert, Maddux Standouts has nice foil finish.

Fun break.

Honestly, I enjoyed Fleers products in 1998 and onward. I feel like Tradition had the same level of photography and action shots as Stadium Club did at a fraction of the price and hype. My favorite card is in series 2, 391- Mike Piazza. ALl of the inserts were great too. The Green Foil In THE CLUTCH is an amazing card, as well as Diamond Immortals.

Wish I could find a cheap series 2 so I can tear it open and hunt some Piazza's myself.

Diamond Ink, blast from the past. Don't think I ever got one of the 25-point cards. That's a fun break. Curious as to what other wax was available.

Nice cards. And I agree with the other poster who mentioned liking the Fleer products from this time. 2001 Fleer Tradition is one of my favorites

2000 Greats of the Game, 1998 Upper Deck series 2, Finest (1998 or 1999), 1997 Fleer are the ones I can recall. Was seriously considering the GOTG, but @ $600 it's tough to swallow.

Thanks for looking
