Default Pokemon @ The National

I won’t be set up, but will be walking every day looking to buy Pokemon. Bought tons of cool stuff last year, so looking forward to this year. Whether you are a dealer or attendee, feel free to reach out if you are selling. Happy to buy singles and sealed. Would also be interested in lots of ultra rares (V/ex/Vmax/Vstar) as well. Reach out through here or PMs and will be happy to get a deal done!

Hopefully, there will be a decent amount... At least enough to keep my kid busy looking through boxes for Saturday

The national is behind a lot of trends. These are much older dealers. The newer stuff is going to be outside with the fresher dealers who can't get in and want to deal. The 15 year old kids, 25 year olds who live with mom, 40 year olds who stalk Walmarts those people are the ones at shows I go to with all the newest and best pokemon and they'll be outside the show. Dealers come to the national with inventory over years and decades and they're not going to upend that for pokemon.

That NW part of the building was almost entirely vintage 2 years ago. I wonder just how many of the booths are dedicated to TCG vs having half of a showcase or a random box.

Giving you a break here because I am guessing you haven’t been the past couple years, but there has been plenty of Pokemon there the last two years, and I can’t imagine that number will go down. I’ve already confirmed with over 10 dealers I bought from last year they will be there, and I am sure plenty of others will as well. Understand where you are coming from, but couldn’t disagree more with the sentiment.

There is an app, and website, that shows the floor layout and you can search the dealers. A great addition for this year. You can search for dealers that will have Pokemon and you'll see there is going to be a lot. I bet it's 100 tables.

My only concern is that non-sports is lumped with pokemon in the filter, so it may look like a lot, but those dealers could be doing more non-sport and not pokemon...or vice versa.

guess we will see in a weekj

Scroll down and change the filter to non-sports/Pokemon. 80% of those dealers will be Pokemon. The others will be things like Star Wars.
