Default Signed 8x10 storage question

I hadn't looked at my signed 8x10s in a few years and was going through them to see what i wanted to sell off as I whittle down my collection.
I noticed a couple of the photos looked a little wavy inside the top loader.
Would this be due to humidity that may have gotten trapped in the top loader?

They were all stored flat in top loaders, about 20 per box in my office at home.
Anything I could do to prevent this from happening to more photos??

Thanks

I'm not sure about Toploaders, but generally the preferred method for 8x10 storage is Itoya folders

I've been slowly moving my signed 8 x 10's into Ultra Pro 8 x 10 sleeves, which then fit nicely into Ultra Pro 8 x 10 magnetic one touch cases:

This one had a COA that I just slipped into the same sleeve. Here's the back:

I should mention that I also like this company's 8x10 one touches: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D12PGRL3...rReviewsAnchor

They're not as clear as the Ultra Pros, but they're cheaper and they come with resealable plastic bags that fit over the cases perfectly. The Ultra Pros are clearer (but more expensive), and they don't come with any resealable bags to protect from scratches.
