Apparently releasing today with ZERO publicity....haven't even seen a checklist anywhere.

Pretty strange considering it's one of Panini's 4-5 most important soccer releases each year.

Yeah checklist is out, it’s posted now but Beckett and GoGTS also have it.

Also not sure of ranking as I don’t know all products releasing but it doesn’t have a ton going for it, hottest new player (Yamal) isn’t even in the league, Erling and Salah didn’t light it on fire this year (played well of course), most collectors price aside would prob rather wait for EPL Impeccable or if they do an NT this year And price in mind not sure how this years was but I’d rather open Donruss, Kabooms are still overall more popular than Mangas assuming their in this and last Donruss I opened had multiple leagues and countries included.

Any of these single league releases don’t get much of a buzz imo, I mean yes it’s steps above MLS but no one cared about MLS releases until Messi.

I'm not sure what it is you're smoking, but this is probably his best ever season as a Professional footballer.

I’m tracking a breaker with competitive pricing. After 7 hours he’s at 8 spots filled out of 46 in a full case break.

Meanwhile the FOTL spots I saw with others went VERY quickly but those boxes can be pretty loaded. Not so for regular cases apparently.

Very little excitement for this.

Jumping in before this gets too ugly with the hero talk lol. Salah has objectively been excellent this season. Sure there are some pens (which he converts at a high rate btw) but it’s the way he’s adapted his game to add brilliant assists to his repertoire that already included world class goal ability. He’s sitting 4th favorite in Ballon d'Or odds currently and was favorite for much of the season until Liverpool’s untimely champions league exit. He’s been outstanding.

Not sure how we got to this discussion lol but Prizm is underwhelming and overpriced.

This stuff was printed to the moon and looks rough. Watched a case break with best auto being son unnumbered. Not a single card under /35 in the whole either. Only one auto per box with plenty of weak auto signers makes this very card to justify

He didnt say Salah was the best. He just said he was lighting it up. Which he has been.

The ballon dor winner is not the only player in the world to be "lighting it up".

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and Arsenal striker Alessia Russo have won the Football Writers' Association awards for men's and women's player of the season.

Salah has scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists to help Liverpool win the Premier League title, breaking the record for the most goal involvements in a single 38-game Premier League campaign.

The Egyptian also scored three goals and provided four assists as Liverpool reached the last 16 of the Champions League.

Last month the 32-year-old signed a new two-year contract to stay at Anfield until 2027.

Salah won 90% of the votes cast by over 900 FWA members, marking the biggest winning margin this century.

Breaks for this on anything outside of FOTL are really struggling. A significant amount of spots are being bid up and then unpaid on eBay (I’m in a couple that are delayed right now). Breakers are taking lowball offers on Whatnot just to get filled. Or there are others with some of the most insane pricing you could imagine that are just sitting empty or slowly being filled by compulsive gamblers since those breakers won’t budge. I saw “Liverpool others” spots without the big names, with asking prices of several hundred dollars for a hobby case. It’s an ugly time.

The next 12-18 months is gunna be the year that the overprinting dooms ultra modern. Topps and Panini were saved last year by the demand Yamal brought in. Prizm EPL really does not have much to chase beyond key players gold prizms & 1/1s, a few cases hits and .....that's it. Supplement this with what Soccer Cards United podcast said about the Fanatics er Topps industry conference about more product coming now that they have the license (which you can be assured will have higher print runs).

Maybe Im just getting jaded, but there are not enough true collectors to drive these print runs and prices; and the gamblers ROI's are vaporizing which is why the breaks are not getting filled.

Exactly...soccer card production is way too high....and products are waaaay tooooo expensive.

There needs to be:

1 low-end (i.e <$100/box) EPL product
1 high-end EPL product
1 low-end La Liga product
1 low-end Serie A product
1 low-end Bundesliga product

I'd be ripping a few boxes of this at $60-80 a box.....at Fanatics release price, not in a million years.

It flopped. In Europe. There just isn't a market for it at all.

Agreed.

But I think the bigger issue is that there just isn't much market for ANY single-league product outside of the EPL.

Only the EPL and Champions League offer enough of a concentration of stars/superstars to make a product attractive.

Not posted for a while - collecting isn't fun at the moment, frankly. Have been looking for some PC bits from Prizm. Niche, but Ryan Sessegnon autos (Fulham). I've only seen x3 /25 autos and one /10 from choice. Nothing else remotely low numbered has appeared. Looks like the boxes just aren't being open and it's simple as the price doesn't match the contents due to checklist AND overprinting. These boxes should be $120 max.
