Does a real market exist for this that justifies $125/ box? I was thinking of taking a flyer at maybe half that cost to get Ditcheva stuff as I think she'll take off after PFL. Other than legends, nothing else really worth a chase in this.

$125 for four autos, even NIL baseball products would probably cost at least that. I’m not saying “ahh fair price” and it may very well drop but I don’t know what people expect when it’s 2025 we are never going back to pre-covid.

I doubt there’s many more chases in the UFC products with less autos that cost more, people just see the UFC brand and assume value but it’s a select amount of cards that hold true value which will be the same case here.

Also depends your approach, I mean her UFC cards will hold more value but Kayla Harrison is about to fight for the title and her first rookies were PFL, you mentioned Ditcheva, if she does blow up and you get a nice one from this it’ll prob be a win.

This product is so dead I couldn’t even find a blaster rip online as I saw them in-store and considered one but wanted to see how they were first

I watched a couple hobby boxes get opened, and I decided it was an easy pass. Plenty of color, etc., but just seemed like a really rough product to open.

Not that anyone cares lol but blasters seem like the way. In my area they are less than the major sports blasters and you get an auto per (Seen Tito Ortiz from small sampling so not all nobodies) and at minimum two numbered cards with people ripping saying the numbering goes pretty low for possibilities.

I’d prob stay away from hobby although I would still have fun as I’m sure I know a lot of these names and like MMA alot but I am likely gonna pick up a blaster this week and see how it goes and will report back

Been watching a guy who rips a blaster a day, definitely looks like a much more reasonable rip. Rampage Jackson showed up, so some recognizable names are possible.

A little bummed Ditcheva has no autos in this, apparently a UD exclusive.

We’ve been watching the same person haha, not that surprising since it’s hard to find anyone ripping this hobby or retail.

That’s a bummer on Ditcheva as that would likely be the top auto chase, on the bright side there are numbered possibilities of her I guess and as you said a lot of recognizable names. To be honest I didnt know some of these people competed in Bellator/PFL

Seems to be the equivalent of Rickey Henderson playing independent league baseball at the end to hang on. Lots of the past greats appear to have made pit stops on the way out.

Certainly makes the checklist more interesting.

Kept my word if even just to myself and grabbed a blaster lol honestly auto aside I feel I did awesome. Four, yes four numbered cards from a blaster two being under /100 with one gold /10. Ditcheva Championship Contenders blue parallel(was bummed I didn’t get her but was still happy then that card was last pack). Kennedy is a known name and Khasan hasn’t fought recently but is undefeated.

If you don’t check 130 Point or EBay comps after every pack and like MMA this may be the funnest rip you’ll have in awhile. Also seeing parallel possibilities etc now plus one auto per + thanks to Butcher’s info that Ditcheva doesn’t even have autos I stand by blasters being the way to go. Maybe some top names aren’t in retail autos which is still a maybe but I mean you get a ton of numbered per box, parallels go down to 1/1 and I mean my Gold looks normal it isn’t some speckle gold retail thing so can get really good potential numbered and it’s still an auto per and I’ve seen some cool names. PFL blasters for the win lol

Also keeping my word I saw 2 of these blasters in the wild and decided why not. Jena Bishop auto probably the best. But red and bronze Ditcheva numbered Chael and Tito Ortiz, with a numbered to /99 too. Pretty tough to beat that in retail these days.

Nice! It’s a fun rip and even if its base you see a lot of people you recognize but may not of known they were in PFL.

I was gonna suggest ripping on cam as it may bring in some new audience that may stick around as happened to me and the only guy consistently breaking blasters of this but then he ripped like 100 and prob gave most people their fix lol

Something I just thought of too I like is you are actually getting autos that’s all I s seen really, a lot of times boxes like this it feels you get 40% points to sans auto. That may be better value wise but I always prefer an actual hit.

I tried baseball one time on camera and got like 14 views lol, I've been scared off doing other sports since.

I was looking at Mo too, funny he beat Jiri Prochaska way back in 2015. Doubt he could have handled the version that stopped Rountree last night!

Yeah it’s funny how that works lol sometimes in cases like POATAN though you beat a UFC star back in the day and it acc is a sign to come that you’re gonna dominate haha

The ripping thing depends your intentions I guess, I watch Zeeree who only does hockey but I don’t need a ton of the same products so I only watch him consistently for hockey where as Degen Rips does everything and it essentially makes him a hub if I want to see something I’ll check him. I also know it could be something unique I may not be a huge fan of but ends up being a cool product. Not saying rip everything but maybe if there’s not a ton or you get a jump on something like I just saw these Revolution football tins I didn’t know existed, hardly any rips if you found something like that I think it would do well and maybe lead to a new audience.

My non-hockey stuff is pretty niche at this point. Pro Debut baseball and likely some of the flagship basketball. I used to open a bunch more baseball, mostly set driven stuff like Heritage & flagship but collation/parallel creep/etc made that a no go now.

I used to also rip 10-ish cases of Star Wars but have completely stopped this year since Fanatics killed that property.
