Sorry, I’m an old school 1980’s collector and don’t understand the market of modern parallels especially when little sales data. We pulled this last night a fun family rip of Series 2.
How do you best comp this? I have been trying to use eBay Sales and Market Movers, but no exact comps, only similar. Jett Luchanko #484: Base $5 Outburst and /250 $36.50 Clear Cut $90 /100 $118 Sold Magenta 1/5: Matvei Michkov $367 Will Smith $255 Joshua Roy $82 ($5 base) Josh Doan $80 ($4 base) Matt Rempe $72 ($5.60 base) ***lowest Ruslan Iskhakov $12 ($2 base) So would you comp this card about $70-80? I’m not sure his prospects, he seems to be in top 3rd Young Guns market. He only got 4 starts last October -3. He was drafted 13th overall 2024 and AI said potential to be a top 6 Center. Thank you, just trying to figure out how to best comp modern parallels. |

I'd say you're in the ballpark with $70-80. Luchanko is a slightly better prospect than Doan/Roy, so you might get a little more.
It would also be interesting to to see how close to release those were, if very close to release you might want to apply a haircut to reflect current value. |

Do you have odds? I ask because sometimes lower numbered inserts have similar odds to the crazy odds for a clear cut YG for example. Also seen his B&W canvas YG which is considerably rare went for $26.99. If the odds on yours are considerably more difficult I think that price may work but if not or if it’s only a case or two rarer I’d say closer to $50. Maybe I’m underestimating this guy but Rempe is still very popular so if he went for $72 I’d predict this going for less.

I opened multiple cases of S2, that /5 is considerably rarer than the B&W YG. Clear Cut YG are 1:144 packs, this is likely much rarer than that as well. All that said, the audience interested in numbered parallel Fluorescence is likely smaller than clear cut and B&W. Long way to go to reiterate that number is likely fairly safe. |

I just sent to PSA today, a little scared about that because appears factory cut a little rough edges and some lines/scratches. |

The low numbered fluorescences are tough pulls but not really sought after, especially once more releases start coming out.
Jesper Wallstedt also sold at BIN for $150... but a Brock Faber /5 sold at auction for $75. I'd say 100-125 right now. Last edited by JohnnyAppleseed; 04-25-2025 at 07:31 AM. |
