15 months later...

I bought a card on Ebay 1/28/24 for $9.03

By the end of February, 2024 there was no tracking and the thing hadn't shown up so I filed for a refund.

4/1/25 (NOT AN APRIL FOOL's!!!) card showed up! 15 months later!

Do I reach out to the seller to send him hi $10....or did Ebay just eat it?

I've been on Ebay for 23 years and never had this happen.

It’s happened to me a few times. Not 15 months long, but I’ve had a few go 3+ months. Contact the seller and say you can send him the money for the card. The sellers have always declined in the past for me. But at least I offered!

That is a crazy story! If it were me, I would reach out to the seller (assuming they are still on eBay) and offer to send them $10. They may tell you that eBay covered it, but I would feel better making the offer.

I got a card a couple of months ago that took 23 months to arrive. Bought on ebay in Jan 2023 and arrived November 2024. It was a $2 card and I was buying so much at that time that I completely forgot about it until it arrived. It was ESE standard envelope. Confirmed in ebay and by the post mark that the seller mailed it the day after I bought it so the nearly 2 year delay was all on USPS. And they just slipped it into my mail one day like nothing ever happened.

I once had a card that took 3+ years to arrive.

Last week I had an eBay Standard Envelope that hadn't shown up after a month. I messaged the seller and it came in the mail that day.
