Default Best & Worst Cards of All-Time - Let's see them

Going through a collection and fell upon these, thought they were cool. Let's see some of what you think are some of the best and worst photos/cards of All-Time

Worst: 1995 Pinnacle John Smoltz

Best: 1996 Upper Deck Omar Vizquel

I’ve shared this before, but the Freeman from 2022 Gilded is pretty great.

This Mark Reynolds one reminds me of a disinterested little leaguer.

I will always love the perfect shot of the perfect swing on the 1997 Topps Griffey.

Some great cards, the Roughned Odor is the most shocking. I'm actually going to have to see if that's a legit card. I dont remember the Brooks Robinson looking like that. Now the important question, which one do you think is the best. Haha

The Pee Wee Reese is a classic, right next to that other card from the 70s I'm sure someone will post.

Reynolds is hilarious. Looks like a pee-wee kid getting his picture taken. Griffey epitomizes that 90's across multiple genres like only a few others could. His highlight reels are awesome to watch.

NGL I kinda love this one, but I'm a sucker for the behind home plate perspective.

1991 Topps had some awesome cards. The Benito Santiago is easily my favorite staged card they had in their 1991 set.

One of my 10 or so favorite cards. A contender for Top 5

I can't think of another card that regularly sells for $20+ just because of how ugly it is. It's not a 20 cent card otherwise.

1971 Topps World Series Brooks Robinson is one of the worst cards, the framing of the photo looks like a guy crawling through the desert.

Default Best & Worst Cards of All-Time - Let's see them

That ‘71 Robinson is hard to beat. But among modern cards, I’d say the Acuna Sapphire auto is a huge flub, unmatched in being such a missed opportunity to create a supercard.

Unlike others, I enjoy a good horizontal. But it has to be an image that fills the horizontal space. This leaves 3/4th of the plane open. Plus it’s a side-profile, fielding shot taken during spring training. Nobody wants to see #82 on a card of this caliber! And to top it off, it’s the autographed complement to maybe the greatest card of last decade, the Sapphire Bat Down—a card that is beloved for the image and the moment it represents. The auto is the exact opposite in every (bad) way.

Had this been an autographed Bat Down, people would’ve sold their kidneys to buy that card.
