Can redemption packs be weighed for sticker autographs?

Has anyone heard of someone doing this?

Wondering if it is a waste of money to buy one.

Pack searchers can determine if packs have sticker autos. Either by weighing or through touch.

The sticker would add very slight weight to the pack but one would need a very sensitive scale and would also need to assume there is no pack to pack variation (e.g., extra seal or foil in the wrappers) and no card size variation. I'm certain those happen all the time.

Yes, they absolutely can and do. If any monetary gain can be had, people will do it.

I wouldn’t chance it. Heck I’ve stopped buying boxes off eBay unless it’s a sealed case

I’ve stopped buying boxes/cases unless it’s directly from topps or poopnini. You can’t trust anything loose anymore or coming off eBay. I see probstein selling hobby boxes all the time, lots of 6 etc. no thank you! Keep your search/scanned boxes.
