Ha ha, I had mixed feelings about Gleyber on the Tigers. The amount is low risk, so I am all for it. Keith or Torres to 3rd? Keith was taking reps at 1st which would mean Tork is out. Hinch will figure it out. 😀

He can't field or run and now is in a ball park that's not great for offense. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded during the season if the Tigers struggle.

I was ready to clown on the Tigers for doing something silly like signing him for 6 years, but on a 1 year deal I hate to say it but I like this for the Tigers. Torres isn't amazing, but he's not as bad as people hate on him for being. The Tigers desperately need any semblance of offense in addition to Greene and some good stretches from Vierling/Carpenter, and Torres definitely helps raise the floor

Yep. Gleyber is a slightly above average major leaguer. People here have a skewed perception of baseball players because they can only think in card values. This was a good move by the Tigers.

Javy signed a one year deal? And Gleyber can get on base in a way Javy has rarely shown the ability to do.

Yeah but he's bad defensively and is a bad baserunner. 15 per is about where the market is, but really says something that the best he could get was a 1 year deal.
