Missed above that the auto could also be a base sapphire, which based on odds look again to be numbered to /199 as has been the recent history in sapphire.

It looks pretty standard for sapphire releases. I doubt this sells as well as topps chrome update sapphire.

I was able to procure 2 boxes of sapphire BUC today. I noticed that it said *must be logged in to purchase.* Product sold out in a much more reasonable 10 minutes for boxes and about 15 for the cases.

Does it always say that? Were folks able to bot spam purchase w/out being logged in on other products by using PayPal etc? Was that the issue causing the insta-sellouts?

I just think the BUC product is not as popular as the baseball. And why it is a much lower price. Yes, there are some good chase elements but lots of cheap autos. I opened two cases last year and I was not well rewarded. And it was at a much lower price.

Ahhh, OK. Well, hope springs eternal that Topps figures out a way to allow more collectors (vs flippers/breakers) to actually get their hands on products such as this.

I purchased a whole case of this Bowman U sapphire cause individual boxes sold out before cases for some reason. Anyways, I really only want a couple boxes. Anybody want to split this case with me? I’m not looking to make any crazy flipper money on these. Probably just $235/box will cover the taxes and shipping.

My dad called to tell me his box "didn't have anything good" before telling me he also got a green Kurtz auto and a Kellon Lindsey Base auto. His best color was a Tyson Lewis Gold.

He's not much of a prospector.

Consider yourselves lucky. My auto was a blue Dylan Dreiling, 3 colors of 2nd-4th rounders. Only noteworthy base sapphire was Dante Nori and also got a base selections of him. Basically lighting money on fire with that box
