Bought the Derrick Queen Auto /99 or lower yesterday on Topps now. Sad the limit was only 1.

I agree. It's going to be wild to see how these cards hold up compared to the pro uni stuff when it becomes available!

Either way I love some college basketball stuff.

Personally, I like Bowman U Best.....best. lol But I'm sure I'll pick up some BUC too. Big fat no to Sapphire though, as I got dusted on the 2 boxes I got last year.

I wonder if her being Canadian (so much more limited in NIL earning opportunities than US players) factored in to her signing exclusively with Leaf.

Paige and Juju already have chrome cards, which limits that a bit. I think USC Juju might mean something. I hope they go heavier on the ladies with different options given the absolute bloodbath the mens spots were last year.

I was surprised to find out that Juju was in 2022/23 BUC...I guess they included her when she was still in HS??

I'm wondering if Paige will have autos in this year's BUC as she's signed an exclusive deal with Panini. I'm thinking she signed her BUC autos before becoming Panini exclusive as they usually send out stickers/cards to be signed months in advance of a release. But maybe she won't have any autos in Sapphire or BUB?

Topps ran Caitlin autos last year after she signed with Panini, that's just when they switched to stickers for everything. She was hard signed for the Bowman Now stuff before then. I imagine there will be SP Paige autos and/or they hold her out for her own "collection" to run out all of the stickers they have left over for her. But I wouldn't hold my breath for a Prime Signatures or Greatness Awaits auto in these products this year.

Panini seems to be the sticker auto king. They've had Caitlin signed exclusively for over half a year now and still no on-card autos except for 1 or 2 Panini Instant cards? Really inexcusable. I'm assuming they have on-card autos lined up for her for sets being released soon. I mean, if they're not stupid.

That's why I like the BUC/BUB sets. They've have multiple on-card auto cards (though inserts) like the die-cut Buckets, Greatness Awaits, and Prime signatures. Except I guess Angel Reese didn't sign anything on-card for last year's Bowman sets because it seems ALL her autos were stickers. And man, her Greatness Awaits autos look like garbage due to how off-center they appear on the card.

Given that Angel had academic suspensions I'm not sure she's able to write so the stickers were probably from someone else signing for her
