Default Favorite Adult Animation Show

Allow me to present a fresh poll, undoing my previous failure. What is your favorite adult animation of all time?

Tough call between "American Dad" and "Ren and Stimpy" but I'm gonna hafta go with "X-Men: The Animated Series/X-Men '97".

Golden age of The Simpsons was absolutely peak television but later seasons dragged down the score.

5-star poll!

"The Simpsons" has never been topped, and it seems unlikely it will be in our lifetimes.
"King of the Hill" and "Rick & Morty" are also on the podium, but all of the choices are pretty good.

Here's a thread for trading cards related to some of these shows:

A really good list, I like 'American Dad'.
Years ago I liked 'Home Movies' and 'Drawn Together'. If they tried making 'Drawn Together' today the writers would be cancelled into oblivion and never work again, which is why it was so damn funny.

Had to go South Park for being the most consistent.

As stated earlier, golden age Simpsons are the best but after that is very uneven and repetitive. American Dad TBS era is very good. Bob's Burgers solid all around. Family Guy had a great stretch but fell off

For me the writing and nuanced character development on King of the Hill puts it near Seinfeld level of sitcom. The animation is kind of an afterthought but damn, I loved that show.

I remember really liking Drawn Together. Been awhile since I watched it I wonder if it still holds up.

My answer to the question however is Venture Bros.

My God what a tremendous show

I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't find the Simpsons funny at all.

I voted South Park

How could I also forget Harvey Birdman attorney at law and of course Sealab and Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Classic Adult Swim was so good back then

I wouldn’t consider The Simpsons as Adult Anime. It does have some adult situations in it, but it is not like the others as far as being NSFW.

Ren & Stimpy also depends. If you are talking about early 90s Reb & Stimpy, that would be a kids show. I remember watching it on Fridays as part of Nickelodeon’s Friday night lineup.

Now once it got rebooted, it is absolutely adults only. It is not as good either IMO.

My vote for best though would have to be King of the Hill. Timeless show that I can watch over and over.

South Park by a mile and nothing comes close

Family Guy used to be amazing before they got soft

American Dad is solid

I voted Southpark but I would prefer Super Jail and Mr. Pickles over anything else on the poll.

Super Jail was fun if you were in the right “state of mind”

Anyone else like 'Brickleberry', I liked it but man did they cross the line a lot. Which is of course why I liked it.

The Venture Brothers
Moral Orel
Æon Flux
Mike Tyson Mysteries
is probably my favorite though.
