Default GOT-Legends of the Realm

Just saw a placeholder for a Rittenhouse release called Legends of the Realm. Release date is November 2024, retail $270/box. Something like Valyrian Steel, maybe?

5 Packs, 1 Auto Per Pack.

Was originally on the list as Art and Images Series 2, apparently, they decided to change things up and make a new set.

Rough price point.

"Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister), Sean Bean (Eddard Stark), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister)

Average of 6 Autograph Cards among the above listed actors in every case (approximately every other box)"

The Blowout price will be lower, hopefully not much over $200/box. That's a good list of signers, they also have Leslie, McCann, Gillen, and a handfull of others. Of course Clarke, Harington, Dinklage, and a few others will be pretty much impossible to pull I'd guess, hope they get more fun inscriptions that they've had in the last 2 or 3 sets.

Seems like a nice case to break if the first 6 picks are from that list.

Nice to finally see some more Charles Dance, hopefully they can get some inscriptions. Where did you find this list? I don't see it anywhere.

What if they introduce a new autograph format using that word-art design they've got on the placeholder page? Gross.

Rittenhouse only does on card autos, correct?

They've done cut autograph's before which I guess are maybe still on card, this one specifically says all autographs are on card.

BO pre-order up for $250/box and $2950/case. Was hoping for closer to $200 per and would have been in for a case I think. That extra $600 is tough to work with.

It's really a shame Rittenhouse has gotten this greedy, they think if they load cases up with manufactured scarcity like 1/1 parallels of every insert set and now they have ten different inserts it's going to equate to value. My golden rule, if the top card won't cover the cost of the case (it won't here), I'll buy singles and even with the potential of a bunch of Arya cards, I might go easy even in case breaks depending on cost per spot.

Can this be the last GoT set for awhile?

They're in Star Wars territory where the big hits are going to be so rare that the chances of cases being worth it when these signers have been used over and over is minimal.

Just noticed this on the Rittenhouse site:

"Please note that future allocations of House of the Dragon cases will be heavily weighted based on orders of Game of Thrones: Legends of the Realm Trading Cards."

I'm done guessing what they'll do with GoT in the future but that's an odd thing to advertise, isn't it?

I noticed that too. Feels like Fanatics on the baseball side making people but cases of Big League to get access to better products.

That's a bad take from Rittenhouse. Buy the millionth GOT set so you can get more of the actual new, continuing show....

People have had plenty of time and chances to pick up signers they want, relics, parallels. While the brand itself is tarnished in pop culture after the last seasons, so there's naturally not the same demand as was.

Just because people have had their fill of the OG show shouldn't weigh on House Of The Dragon.

The full checklist is up here:

It looks pretty loaded.

Six parallels of the base set. That has got to be the most Rittenhouse has every done. Usually it is just standard with a gold or something.

Just bought the last box here. I was thinking of 2 or 3 but only 1 was available. More may get posted at a higher price if this takes off. They show 3 cases still available.

Some pics are up. Not a fan of the design on the base cards. The acetate inserts look pretty good.
