Can't wait to see some of these cards. Kane-Son dual auto patch card is my dream card, but I'm sure will be well outside my budget.

Very strange about adding the mystery bonus to some of the lower valued autos.

Who cares....at this point just about every release, in every sport, is overpriced junk.

Hard to get excited about ANY new releases, in ANY sport, these days, given how breakers are driving up box prices to ridiculous levels.

How can you not get excited about the cards that will be coming out of this? OPENING any of this is a terrible idea, but wax being opened by people with little interest in the cards and getting discounted singles to the market is great for collectors.

Allegedly, when news first broke about this product, he was the last signer that Topps was waiting to get cards back for. I would imagine he would be the odds on favorite to be at least one of the Mystery Redemptions (followed by Lamine Yamal).

The Fati boxes need a redemption for an additional box to go alongside the mystery redemption.

An even bigger slap in the face is half the checklist just being autos. Imagine getting a Mount or Fati auto out of this, not even a patch lol

On top of that, those basic autos of players like Xavi, Lampard, Gerrard, Gascoigne, etc will have 8 different non-relic autos. If each one is /10 and then maybe they have /5 plus /1...you can do the math. Non-relic autos will be in the majority of the boxes.

Messi alone assuming they do 1,5 and 10 (sometimes Dynasty does /2) would have 224 autos I think including the dual auto with Haaland.

At the assumed price of $2k a box there are maybe 5-6 guys that would pay for a box.

The design is "meh" and looks like just about every other high-end product Topps has ever released. Have zero interest in any of the singles at any price.

It's junk for junkies (i.e. breakers/gamblers)....

Topps/Fanatics doing their best to load value and hats off to them for doing so. They probably went after Mount/Fati/Adeyemi/Moukoko when they were bigger names, but pairing many of them with redemptions to still try to deliver value is an amazing move. They've done it several times with their Topps Now line, but they seem to very much be trying to create more winners. Everyone can complain, I think they are clearly at least trying.

Of course they are trying, the need to ensure these $1500 boxes move or their breakers will be pissed. I don't think they care too much about the end consumer as they aren't buying this direct, the breakers are.
