Would you be interested in a Wolverine Club with comic #1 coming in September?

I was thinking we could get every issue starting with #1 and that way we could all have the full run.

Plus, depending how many people are interested, we could get all the incentives that they have each month and random them off.

For Wolverine #1 I already ordered 200 copies plus the 1:25 (8), the 1:50 (4) and the 1:100 (2) incentives.

They probably won't have all that for every issue though - so far issue #2 only shows a 1:25.

If we did every variation for every issue, it might get pricey, but we could set a base of like 5 cover variations each month plus opened up a way to add more if you wanted...

The covers are $4.99 but I could sell them at $4.50 each (which includes adding any incentive comics for free). The mailer is $1 and the shipping is usually $8. I am thinking $35 would get you 5 or 6 comics each issue (figure monthly). We would need at least 4 people to commit to this with me to guarantee us at least the 1:25 incentive comic.

This is an on-going series. They had a bit of a dust up in the Marvel comic universe and all the mutant titles are starting over at #1.

These are NEW stories and not reprints or anything like that.

One big change in comics the last few years are variant covers. (Think photo variations with sports cards.) They will get a handful of popular artists and have them draw their own cover. They will also do logo or blank covers where people will then have their favorite artists draw on them at shows or comicons.

These variant covers are usually not rare. They can be worth more though based on the artist and/or the image. The cooler the image or the more popular the artist, the more valuable the cover.

Also, there are incentive covers. (Think sp or ssp in sports cards.) Generally incentive covers are reserved for comic book shops because you have to order a lot of issues to get one. With this club, we would have the buying power to secure incentive covers. Incentive covers would then be randomed to the club for every issue for free.

With this club, you would get 5 covers of each issue in the on-going series. I believe each cover for Wolverine will have at least 5 covers but we can always double up on the main cover if we have to - I like to have 2 copies anyway so that I can read one without worrying about damaging it.

Counting me, we need 4 people to join each month. That will give us enough covers to be able to get at least one 1:25 cover. If we get 20 people altogether, we could then get every 1:100 they ever offer.

This club will actually start with issue number #2 because I have already purchased over 200 copies of issue #1. We will run a large comic book group break for issue #1 and I will make sure everyone in our club gets the chance to get in that!
