Default How long are the auto lines?

I'm considering purchasing some autograph tickets. Pete Rose & Ozzie Smith are on my radar. But I heard people say the line is typically a few hours. With this being my first time to the National, I'm not sure I want to spend 2 hours in line. Then I think, what if this is the last chance I get to meet Pete Rose?

I got Ozzie the last time it was in Cleveland and the line was fairly quick/short. Tristar generally tries to make it easier by having a numbered ticket system and the guy announces the ticket numbers so you just have to be in the general area, you don't have to get in line until its your number called and they usually do it in blocks of 10 to keep the line short. Overall the only lines I have seen that likely actually took a couple hours were Pujols (I think that was also the last time in Cleveland) and Hulk Hogan twice.

OK you talked me into it. Got Pete Rose and Ozzie, both on Friday. Thanks!

The line to buy autograph tickets and authenticate your items is long. The actual signings move pretty quickly.

In general, the only autograph lines that are really long are the VIP signers, because they are signing over a thousand autographs (I remember seeing the running count one year on Icky Woods and it was well over a thousand when I got him).
