Default Have you ever eaten a "taboo" animal (according to Americans)?

Ecuador - Guinea Pig

China - Saw BBQ dog on the street vendor carts, but never ate any.

But don’t ask me what. I’ve eaten so many.

Does Kangaroo count? Probably not since I ate it in Oklahoma, but that's about the best I can do.

Is Fugu Sushi Taboo? If so, yes for me (I think that's the craziest thing I've eaten)

I’ve had frogs legs but after talking to a lady who admitted living in the hills of West Virginia, I had no idea what fatback was. She flat out told me that her dad would hunt anything on 4 legs, possum, raccoon and worse.

Had a friend 30 years ago that went to visit his sister with a friend of his in Louisiana. They had spaghetti. When his friend was complementing his sister on how good the sauce was, he brought up a ladle with a squirrels head in it. He said his friend turned 3 shades of white. I laughed so hard and then thought I’m glad it wasn’t me with him.

Seen Dog in signs over in Houston at some Asian Grocery stores. Could tell about a occurrence of missing dogs and what it lead to as well as a Pizza shop and what was found on their freezer. Not good.

That’s where we went for our honeymoon. Spent 10 days hiking, kayaking and mountain biking all over.

It was gorgeous. Wasn’t allowed to eat Cuye though.

Oh snap, where’d you propose to your girlfriend at? How long did you do mission work out there? Ever have time to explore?

I studied abroad in Ecuador for 5 months. Enjoyed my time out there.

Hahaha yeah, I was at a undergraduate class reunion/party and one of my friends wanted to try it. I was a little intoxicated and said I’d try it too. Don’t really remember much about the taste or texture though.
