Default Anyone ever deal with a PSA order surpassing the estimated timeframe by double?

In short, sent a regular submission (estimated 10 days) to PSA, that PSA logged into their system on June 6. It still shows in assembly today, while a bulk order that was sent in the same package was already graded.

Anyone have any experience with a 2x+ delay from the estimated time?

When did it hit Research & ID?

That's when the clock starts, from what I know. So if it went to R&ID on June 6 and you count that as the first business day, then June 26 is the 15th business day.

If it hit R&ID later, then you might still be close to that 10 day estimate. It's only an estimate, so I wouldn't expect much from PSA such as vouchers, but you can ask if they miss their target.

Did they provide an estimated completion date? I think I remember seeing that in the app on my phone...I don't remember how it displayed on the site.

I once submitted an order in may 2020 that didn’t get back until October 2021… so… YES.

They received it June 22, and logged it in on July 6.

I haven't submitted a regular order since PSA moved to the estimated completion date on the order page but I can say that I have had several bulk orders go 3 to 4 weeks past the estimated date. Not even sure why PSA has this date on there to begin with if they can't come close to it.

Probably easier to see who hasn’t experienced this.

I had a Regular Dual Service that went past the estimated completion date by 3-4 days. I called to see if something was amiss because I did have a new credit card with that particular order. The CS person told me that their turnaround time was 15 or 20 days (I don't recall) and was surprised to see my order showed a 10 business day turnaround. He apologized for the delay and mix-up between the estimated turnaround time to me when I put in the order and what they were currently listing as TAT on their end. The call ended and grades popped within 20 minutes of the conversation.

I had a value plus order go for roughly just over double the time frame mid to late last year, I spoke with their customer service and after a couple of back & forth emails I got a credit voucher from them which they posted out to me.
