as a first timer for this, not sure if that 199 vip ticket worth it.
personally not in demand on parking pass or auto tickets or those giveaways. any other benefit as a vip? what's in that vip lounge? |

Early entry is probably the best perk. Waiting in the general admission line can be pretty time consuming on some days

VIP gives you early entry, a parking pass and access to the VIP lounge. The lounge may sound stupid, until you realize it’s the only place to sit, and it has bathrooms off the show floor. Buy it now and thank me later.

Sitting in the lounge at previous nationals was the best part, usually people were friendly or doing breaks or just hanging out but it was a good rest stop

No, only at the VIP Party before the show on Wednesday. In Chicago, there was a food vendor in the VIP lounge with the best concession, but Cleveland has the biggest selection of food option on the show floor compared to Chicago and Atlantic City.

You get some autograph tickets, a 2 to 5 card set from the corporate dealers (Topps, Panini, Leaf, Upper Deck, Etc.), some vouchers to use on the show floor, and early access.

Last year I felt was the worst I had received, it was mostly ads for companies that I threw away. It had a few other things like a one-touch holder, some promo cards, the autograph tickets, coupons for things like % off an ebay purchase or discount for grading with a company, a pen.
As others have said the best part is being able to skip the line going in. At least in Chicago the line wrapped through the lobby where the VIPs walk in a door on the side with no line and just someone making sure you have a badge. |
