So,m last year was a pretty odd learning curve. I ended up collecting cards like I was prospecting in reverse I would buy dozens of players who I knew were under the radar, lot of pay offs this spring like Buying 42 Foley's for .40-.80 and flipping 29 for 5-8.00

RPs are drasticly under-rated on Sorare. These guys all fixate on closers then when the other shoe drops they all scramble to buy whatever one else is buying or what some random twitter guy told them

I ended up with 41 wins last year or there abouts, trying to figure my way with not a lot of help

Yes, it is a PSEUDO-Fantasy as everyone can have the same players, the players gain card/team EXP, and you keep the card so you can have a dozen of the same guy *All be it 4 is really all you need in the rarity class if you are running hot players or hunches*

They all chase THE HOTNESS! and ignore the rest of the game. I've never seen a game where everyone ran the same cards game week after Game week I Ohtani/Betts/Freeman/Adolis/Seager or trea/Strider/Iglesias or Clase. BUT when Strider got hurt the apple cart tipped over and everyone was scrambling, trying to get RP info, and all of the streamers were giving soooo much bad info Pressley! No...hes not the closer, OMG! Iglesias! No..braves are struggling and Minter gets as much time, OMG!

Now they are all Mason Miller and McArthur chasing.

One of the isues is card release and thier critiera as well as those BLOATED Europeans, paying through the nose for cards, JUST to show off a trophy card...they "won". It's silly But hey, it is fun.

Sorare is faily poorly at the whole "Collectible" side of collectible card game. They seem focused on gambling only with no concern that somone like Espinal only had 2 rares for the Blue Jays before traded to the Reds, so only 2 people can build the complete set...but they SWEAR they are addressing that in the near future, so shall see. Meanwhile, following the rumor mills, and the feeds, allows me to snag people who are on the block or in talks and use em for trade.

This year I've won about 120.00 in cards, nothing AMAZING. This week I should and a Star card for 1 Rare tournament. So worse case it's a 100 card and best case it's a rare Ohtani, which should be a 700.00 card. It's nice to win things like that off of a team I built that I have around 140.00 invested in.

I do a LOT of value building for fun. I've got 14,000.00 in cards (Not what I paid) as it is easy to increase value because these guys ALL CHASE *See above* THE HOTTNESS!. It's like watching these silly people who think stocks go 1 way or another...never 1 way THEN another Ohtanis fantasy score this week left people dumbstruck and made me smile a bit. Again, if I have not written it or inferred it enough, these guys do not understand baseball.

NONE OF THEM..even my fellow Americans as they are all roto guys who swapped...seem to bother reviewing pitches...so none of them have realized it's the era of the slider. I Posted it a few days ago *Cricket chirps*. They all seem to think all fo the power hitters are in slumps...at the same times...facing the same pitchers and when one cranks a bomb it reinforces thier "SOON!!!* thinking. Ah well, more trades for me.

Some of the downsides from last year and this..is the cultural differences. Certain cultures *Glares at the Italians* think that a price is a suggestion and offering half as a starting point is how to deal Whe n isay " Man, I am not a flea market" they ...get confused as evidently they have no idea what that is and when you spiral it down to discount store they still don't get it. Since I prefer trading over selling..but I cant SHOW my cards to randoms unless they can SEE a card for sell to READ My name (Has prefers trades in the name)..some end up bought. 500.00 worth 2 weeks ago, which was sad, but people were scrambling and it happens.

I am in at AROUND 9800.00 Took a LARGE HIT on the format change but it's working it;s way back up. Not sure for how long as Sorare is big on vaguery and hinting and leaving everyone hanging. They came up with a in-season scheme to sell cards by making all cash tournam,ents require a certain number of 2024 cards, which makes sense and I am fine with, but DECLARED more competitions coming...and no one knows if they allow pre 2024 cards, so a lot of the trading has been tepid for the last 2 weeks.

The GWs are Mon-THur and Friday-Sun. So you get 2 Game Weeks per real world week, which i like, so 2 chances at prizes across all comps each week. THE BIG THRILL.....and the cash cow, is the post season. IF YOU can predict the last 3 teams...man the prices those cards get are insane. You can take 1.00 cards of the 5th MR guy that gets 1 game every 2 weeks, and flip them for 10.00 or a 10.00 card. Gunnar Henderson was 35 going int othe post and 300 by the end Corbin carrol went about a similar path as did Adolis, Semien,etc, all fo the bats spiked by 1000-2500%, it was wild and THAT is what I am playing for this year Id like to try and turn 2500.00 in cards into 10-15k. Not so much sell, but trade..ad I prefer collecting the cards even though they are NFTs.

Anyway, if you were ever curious, there ya go. 1 American's lopsided, skewed view. oh, they partnered with Rotowire..but im not sure what that means. When I kept saying they should advertise better that was thier solution I suppose That MLBTV commerical from last year was god awful and the giant SORARE banners during the NBA games, on the floor, seemed silly, but im old school. need a TV spot to make me happy I suppose
