Had a family when I taught high school that was actively anti-Earth Day.

The dad had been an electrician and touched a live transformer. Was dead for several minutes before being revived. Said he went to heaven. Became a traveling preacher.

His son was in my class (didn't have many friends, so he talked to me a lot) and told me that every Earth Day his dad would make a big show to the family of leaving the faucets and every light in the house on.

I wonder if they will still celebrate Earth Day on Mars when we've begun colonizing that planet?

Will they celebrate Mars Day? Will we on Earth?

Heck, what kind of calendar will they use on Mars?
