Default Prizmania

Was curious as to what everyone's thoughts are on the Prizmania insert in Prizm hobby. Feel like it may have some potential to be a nice set for the long term, especially with Panini's license about to go (even with Lebron not in the checklist). Also wondering if anyone has any estimations on the print run.

I don’t like it. Which probably means it will be a huge success.

It's ugly and I don't understand the logic behind it.

Looks like Funko Pop- the card. Stupid IMO, but people collected Garbage Pail Kids and all sorts of things so who knows.

Looks better than Downtown or that other one to me. As long as it doesn't continue with same design for 10 years.

I'll pass, but cartoons seem to speak to a lot of the breakers and the simps who follow them. These could end up becoming quite popular for a bit and fill up the mom's basements of investors who chase them!

I like them because they're rare, not because they look good. I struggle mightily with that part of me that participates in the hobby not gonna lie lol.

Got my Jokic in the mail today. I like them, but they definitely have their niche in the Downtown, Kaboom, Donruss Animation realm.

They do some pretty rare, seemingly moreso than the others listed above. Largely a wild guess, but seems like PR is 25-50 at most maybe.

They sell for way more than I would pay. The Bilal sold for like $700. I was astonished.

Those necks are super thick. Instead of Prizmania they should have called the set ThickNecks.

If I were playing in that level of the hobby these things would be dead last on my target list.

Looking for autos/relics of cartoon voice actors - one role as confirmed on IMDb is enough to qualify.

They are kind of like these bobble head inserts in some Topps sets back in the late 50s or early 70s.

I’m usually not a panini hater like most on this board but these are the most low effort, garbage inserts I’ve ever seen.

I feel like Manurenini's target age demographic is on a strong Benjamin Button trajectory.

Something Baby Shark related seems to be the next logical release.
