Did anyone in their right mind ever think the base model would be 40k?

I’ve got nothings against teslas but that’s the ugliest vehicle ever made.

It’s a stainless steel EV battering ram.

The highway accident reports are going to be wild.

My buddy was high up in the list. Was getting offers of $40K for his spot. I wonder if those go up now?

Extreme designs rarely age well, so good luck with this.

I'll be curious to see one on the road.

At 10k pounds the Hummer ev has this beat hands down as a battering ram. But the cybertruck is ridiculously fast and also Tesla drivers act like they just got their learners permit.

It’s not the weight.

All stainless steel, lack of crumple zones, acceleration. This isn’t a safe vehicle. Nor is it a truck, but I digress.

Plus the autopilot is like letting a twelve year old drive your car.

I use full self driving and it drives 95% of the time. It is getting better every update. Autopilot is just for keeping you in the lane. Are you speaking from experience or just repeating what you hear from other people?

It looks like an experimental NASA vehicle for the moon.

I will take these Tesla "trucks" seriously when their sales over take the Nissan Titan. These are nothing more than a novelty item, like the big Hummer's and Delorean's were.

I'll stick with my F-150.

I looked into the F 150 EV but it was too outrageously priced. Plus I didn’t want to be a beta tester.

Another one of your UFOs? Was it a prototype cyber truck chasing you?

I’d never drive a car where all controls need the touchscreen because when it malfunctions you might as well start peddling like Fred Flintstone, so no direct experience unless you count seeing plenty of Teslas maneuvering dangerously in front of other vehicles including city buses.

You have no idea what you are talking about. The Tesla's that maneuver dangerously in front of buses and other cars are crappy drivers. I can say the same about Prius or F150 drivers. All of your opinions are based upon the nonsense that you probably read online or watch on YouTube. They are not based on reality. The vast majority of Tesla cars only have autopilot, not self driving. Autopilot will not change lanes, but you probably think it does.

BTW, Tesla don't rely on touchscreens for all of the controls. They either have buttons or stalks for the critical functions. Windshield wipers are automatic like most cars these days and so are high beams. Everyone is allowed to have opinions, but your opinion is not based on reality.
