Default The Dark Horse Bo Nix "Heisman to the Hall" Career Thread

It's really happening.

The HEAVY favorite to win the Heisman and mock drafts have him going high in the first round.

What an unbelievable turnaround!

Which lucky team will draft this dark horse?

Probably just above Josh Rosen when his NFL career is over

I have been reading a lot of stuff for a while that Nix was a likely 1st rounder. He may be a good fit for the Pats if they are done with Mac Jones

I think he should be 3rd qb drafted So I’m high on him

Short and mid he has elite qualities.

Reminds me a lot of Sam Howell. Howell is better down field. But nix can get better

My body is ready for Mr. BO himself, "Blowout" Bo Nix, the patron saint of these forums.

Bo knows BO.

I have Caleb, Maye, Nix, Penix, Ewers, Sanders at least 4 going first round probably 5. Ewers fan myself and I’m worried he slips to second round because of his injury

Ewers should not be drafted in the first round.

I think he slips to round 2, but I think he was a potential 1st rounder up until recently w/ the injury. Kiper, Bleacher Report, and SI have all touted him to be a 1st rounder (pre injury). No matter, a very deep & talented group of QB's in this class, the best in years. A team can wait until day 2 and grab a good one

Ewers is a good kid and incredibly talented. As someone who has watched just about every one of his college games, his NFL coaching staff is going to decide his fate.

If he evens up going to a dysfunctional franchise with a bitter coach, he's going to flop like Vince Young.

If he can sit and learn with the full support of the coaching staff, he'll have a chance.

I think guys like Maye, Penix, and Nix can go into hard situations keep their edge, but Ewers doesn't have that moxie yet.

Washington's Penix and LSU's Jayden Daniels are favored

He’s a greedy reclassifying jerk

He got his $1M from Ohio State and bounced

I’m 80% kidding. He should never have left Texas. I never fault HS kids. The 20% is the reclassification screwed up the process for recruiting

I do think he will be good

I think Ewers is a better NFL QB than Nix

If Bill Belichick drafts him, he's as good as done.

I wouldn't mind him getting drafted rd 2 and sitting behind someone for a year to learn.
By my estimation, these are the teams that may look to draft a QB rd1 or rd 2

Cardinals (reportedly ready to move on)
Falcons (May not be happy with Ridder)
Bears (May not decide to roll w/ Fields)
Broncos (Coach wants his own guy and Wilson hasnt been terrible but a guy coach can groom may be ideal)
Vikings (Cousins contract up, and is Dobbs the long term answer?)
Raiders (Aidan O may not be the guy and new leadership may want their own guy)
Saints (Carr not long term for sure)
Giants (need a QB bad)
Patriots (likely done with Mac)
Seahawks (How long do they roll with him?
Jets (Zach not the guy and how long do they have w. Aaron?)

Thats like a dozen teams that may grab a QB early. I am not sure how long Dak in Dallas has left on his contract, but assuming that Lance never plays, I'd like to see Ewers go there maybe and sit behind Dak)

If Ewers went to Dallas, I would lose so much money.

Because Frenz is a Texan and has a man crush on Ewers. His boy + his team = spending lots of money.

But it doesn't matter right now, as Ewers isnt going to declare for the draft.

That's a bingo!

Which weirdly reminds me that I still need to get my Colt/Case McCoy custom card printed somewhere nice so I can transfer the sticker autos and make a nice dual.

And less than 20 posts into Bo Nix's thread, we're already down to Case McCoy.
